CANINE GOOD CITIZEN, Age 18+ The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title recognizes that your dog is well mannered, socialized, and obedient. It’s a requirement for many therapy dog certifications. This class will practice the ten test requirements, including loose leash walking, remaining calm when approached by people and dogs, sit, down, stay and come. CGC and therapy dog testing will be offered on the last day of class. Pre-Requisite: Dogs must be social, have some basic obedience training and be able to perform in a group environment.
