With the double threat of COVID and rain, it was necessary to get creative when Konstantina turned 5 this year. As the birthday girl loves attention and music, the idea for K-Fest - a festival for Konstantina was born.

A 20 person per household limit made it hard to hold a big party, so just like a real festival three sessions were held for K-Fest! Just as well, because the rain (every good festival has rain) had made the outdoor area somewhat tight – but thankfully it all worked out in the end. Surrounded by some of her favourite colors, Pegasus the giant unicorn ($5 from Target), a food cart and a DJ Booth, we created a festival scene for the birthday girl and her friends. Guests all got to have their hair braided whilst bopping to the tunes of DJ Jamie (the birthday girl’s cousin).

The styling featured pastel rainbow vibes with some new age style symbols, creating a cute and magical feel. All vendors did an amazing job weaving this style and theme into their products. More importantly, all the kids had a blast! h
