Two Ace Change Repeated performances have proven beyond all doubt that any effect involving the transformation of an ace into a selected card is one of the most intriguing bits of card magic that can be performed. At least I have found such to be the case from my experience in nightclub table work. In my version of this effect a card is selected and returned to the deck. Xext it is controlled to the top of the deck. You must patter to the effect that two aces of the same color are needed to fulfill the requirements in this magical experiment. Under the pretext of removing two aces of the sam e color, the selected card is also removed from the deckThe selected card is removed with the two aces unbeknown to the spectator. Naturally the three cards are removed as two aces. From back to face the}" should be in the following order: Selected card - - ace — ace. Hold the three cards upward in the palm of left hand between the thumb which lies along the center of one side, and the first, second, and third fingers which are on the opposite side. The little finger should be free. Turn the hand back up and glide the bottom card a half an inch or so toward the wrist with the tips of the second and third fingeis. Now, remove the top two cards as one with the right hand. Turn your left hand palm up and shew one ace. Turn the right hand card over revealing the other ace. The "double" card is now dropped face up on the left hand ace. This action sandwiches the selected card between the two aces. Flip the cards face down on the left palm. In doing so be careful not to expose the sandwiched selected card. Remove the top card fan ace) with the right hand by grasping it with the thumb at the inner end and the second and third fingers at the outer end. Turn the right hand palm up and show one ace. (4)
