Michele Conklin is a freelance writer, specializing in consumer health, health care business and reform, and medical science writing. She writes for media outlets as well as creates custom content for hospitals, physicians, medical researchers, medical device and pharmaceutical companies, and non-profit health organizations. Ms. Conklin has a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University and was the business reporter on health for the Rocky Mountain News. She has won numerous awards for her health reporting in Denver, Chicago and Indiana, including the University of Denver Morton Margolin Prize for Distinguished Business Reporting. Ms. Conklin also has an MBA and has worked as a healthcare marketing and communications executive.
