We are grateful for YOU and so many friends who have chosen to Give with Us through the Maternity Home, as well as provide sustainable solutions such as Urban Farming and Clean Water Projects. We could not provide scholarships to over 200 students if not for your overwhelming support.

We are happy to share with you the achievements and amazing success that have been made possible through our combined efforts. You are a true gift and blessing to us and to so many around the world.

Because of your giving, we have served 1873 mothers and their precious new babies at the Maternity Home and each year we invest $57,000 towards our 24/7 operations of this home!

This marks our fifth school year that we have focused on providing school scholarships through our Education Fund and invested $40,000 last year!

None of this could be done if it were not for you! Connect Global has been building relationships around the world with change-makers, entrepreneurs, and go-getters for the purpose of sharing the love and hope of Jesus in tangible and sustainable ways.

Strategic Partners

Connect Global has had the opportunity to continue to prioritize meeting needs of communities by collaborating with strategic partners who are committed long term to the improvement of their neighborhoods and towns

People like Allan and Lorena Posas who feed 300 children a week and are making health screenings and ongoing healthcare accessible to children and their families who would not otherwise recieve this care

Connect Global has been investing in Aquaponics since our inception Over the years our process for selecting new recipients and implementing systems has gotten better Strategic placement of systems built means more opportunity for initial as well as multigenerational success

Our National Director Jorge Amador has built complete systems in and around La Ceiba, Honduras, and teaches dozens of people how to duplicate them successfully each year

Connect Global will continue to invest in sustainable solutions to solvable problems like food scarcity, and lack of access to clean water because we know they work

Our Aquaponics program has been expanding and we are looking forward to creating new systems in the coming year

As people fall below the poverty line because of the effects of the global health crisis, political divisions, and rising inflation it is important to focus on long-term plans to help people provide for their families in holistic and dignified ways

Aquaponics is a hybrid of hydroponic methods of growing healthy vegetables and growing an aqua culture such as tilapia in a series of tanks and grow beds.

In a small system like the ones here, the fish waste is used as a fertilizer for the vegetation which in turn pulls nutrients out of the water. This process also filters the water so that it can then be recycled back into the fish tank to help oxygenate the water.

One of our single Fish tanks totals 450 gallons of water This system utilizes 90 percent less water than traditional in-ground gardening plus the nutrient-rich water is more sustainable and can be used to fortify the overly farmed topsoil

From a hand sketch to reality

Each system has the ability to feed multiple families and does not require as much water or as much ground space as traditional farming. As we learn new ways in which to provide more improvements to our Many families have benefitted from this solution over the years and we are honored to be partnering with some very like minded strategic partners in and around La Ceiba to make this available to even more people.

As these systems are made available we will be able to immediately improve the quality of life for people suffering today, as well as instill a hope for a prosperous future

Connect Global is working to build 20 urban farm systems across the northern coast of Honduras.

Love Never Fails

During our extensive work in La Ceiba we, at Connect Global, observed a very difficult challenge facing new and expecting mothers. We diligently learned as much as we could about the problem and more importantly devised a plan to provide a solution.

Moms were left to wait outside leading up to and immediately after delivery to save beds for women who were in active delivery.

Women would sleep on makeshift cardboard pallets on the floors or crowded benches that line the open-air hallways outside the delivery rooms.

New and Expectant Mothers were being displaced while they waited for beds to open up before delivery, and were given no room to recover post-delivery.

This, of course, is uncomfortable, and dangerous, and would leave the mothers susceptible to assault, germs, and afflictions such as Zika, and Malaria.

Today each mother who delivers their child in La Ceiba has a safe and clean place to recover and receive care from our knowledgeable and compassionate national team

The Maternity Home opened on September 11th, 2019 The Connect Global team is providing 24/7 care for the mothers of La Ceiba and the entire northern coast of the department of Atlántida

As of Jan 1st, 2023 we have served 1873 mothers and their newborns.

We are grateful to see the community jump in to serve and Give With Us towards this life-giving ministry

Javier&DanielleMendoza

Together, Javier & Danielle Mendoza, have been leading mission trips since 2004 and upon it’s founding in 2011 have been instrumental in building Connect Global, a worldwide organization built on providing sustainable solutions to solvable problems like poverty, hunger, lack of education, and lack of clean drinking water

In addition to bringing awareness to issues like Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence, Javier and Danielle are committed to sharing the Love of Jesus in practical ways around the world They do this through public speaking, teaching, and through hosting various mission trips and outreach efforts which have included Haiti, Jamaica, Honduras, Colombia, Thailand, Mexico, Louisiana, Florida, South Dakota, and Texas

Javier and Danielle Mendoza are both licensed and ordained ministers Their ministerial associations, credentials and memberships are held and recognized by MAJC, The Fellowship Network, and LINC

Javier has the privilege of working alongside family and close friends creating, tailoring and communicating the story of the organization while honing the global vision

Javier has received Advanced Training in Leadership through the National Institute of Christian Leadership with Dr Mark Rutland, and is a Certified Trainer in Missions through Go To Nations with Dr Jerry Williamson

Danielle is also a Certified Trainer in Missions through Go To Nations Her current focus is on developing long lasting community partnerships, organizational fundraising efforts, and implementing new strategies all which help fuel the success of her charitable work through Connect Global Danielle and Javier have one daughter, Saige, who is 12 and completed her first international service trip at the age of 4 to Thailand

Along with their daughter Saige, the Mendoza Family has called La Ceiba, Honduras home twice since January 2015 They lived and worked in country establishing the programs and partnerships that are still growing and

Jason&BonnieRuthRolf

Jason and BonnieRuth Rolf have been serving in ministry together since 2001 They have been married for 21 years and have a dog named Zoe Together they have served as College/Young Adults and youth pastors in Grandville Mi They moved to Texas in 2006 where they have served as Live Productions Associate Directors, Marriage and Family Pastors, Care Pastors and Lead Pastors Together Jason and BonnieRuth have a heart to see people discover how to hear God for themselves, know His word and to know that every story matters

Jason and BonnieRuth have a podcast called Barren Not Broken where they share their journey of 20 + years of infertility, miscarriage and Childlessness not by choice While also encouraging others they can have hope in the midst of what seems like darkness, they desire to come alongside couples who are facing this trauma to encourage and equip them to have strong, healthy marriages in spite of the deep pain this journey can inflict

The Rolf's have just recently purchased 48 acres of land in North Texas in a town called Bonham where they are breaking ground on a retreat center for couples who face Infertility, childlessness not by choice and child loss They want these couples to have a place to process the hard decisions, to restore and rejuvenate As well the property will be offered to Pastors and their families who are needing to rest and refresh The retreat center will be called "Legacy Place " They could not be more excited for the days ahead and the legacy that will be discovered and built

Kevin&ShekinahSchwartz

Pastors of The Church at Asheville in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina

Shekinah was called to preach at a young age and now serves as Lead Pastor

Kevin received a call to serve in Missions at a young age and now serves as Church Administrator and Missions Director

Shekinah moved from Louisiana and Kevin from Indiana to find each other and their combined ministry in the mountains of Western North Carolina

Their church's mission has been to love people into a relationship with Jesus This love is vibrant and obvious in their wonderful church family

Along with pastoring both have felt called in areas outside the immediate church family This call is to community in Western North Carolina and to unifying the Body of Christ from ministry to ministry and church to church

"We are ONE Body and we desire to see the Body come together as one We also have a call to foreign missions and serve with partner organizations in several countries One of our dearest relationships / friendships is with the Connect Global family and Javier, Danielle, and Saige in particular

We love the work of God that is taking place in Honduras, whether assisting school children, new-borns, young mothers, orphans, firemen, policemen, the Honduran Body of Christ you name it

There is so much God is doing in Honduras! We are especially excited about the new Missions Program that is training Hondurans for the mission field outside of Honduras And of course, we love Jorge and Janeth Amador, who lead the Connect Global team in Honduras!

We have gained so many friendships from our interaction with Connect Global that bless us and inspire us to live more fully for Christ!
