Space

Multiply your reading experience by joining the 2Book Topeka community read. Our June-July 2019 theme is space featuring The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams and Packing for Mars by Mary Roach. Both books give you a fun and entertaining look at space. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is the fictional story of bumbling space travelers filled with wit and satire. Packing for Mars is a nonfiction exploration of strange and practical questions about space travel and the bizarre tests that are conducted to find the answers. For example, what

happens if you vomit in your helmet during a spacewalk? Discuss these books with others at the 2Book Topeka Book Club on Sat, June 15 and Sat, July 20.
