Hello! I am so grateful you're here, my name is Sara the creator of conscious livin. I am an environmental scientist, I believe that small changes in our daily habits can drive large scale change. My intention behind this Ebook was to create a guide of ethical brands to make being an environmentally conscious consumer easy! Many brands at the moment are using buzz words like green, sustainability or eco friendly to make you believe that their products are environmentally conscious. However, most of them aren't! There is no legislation or regulation around the use of green or sustainabile wording so companies who are actually polluting our planet can market themselves as eco friendly! I believe money talks and it is business that will help drive climate action, so it is very important where you spend your money.
Because your money talks! I believe that in order to help hold large corporations and governments accountable for climate action is to make them listen. The biggest driving force in today's society is money, so by supporting companies that are sustainable we are forcing society to look at the climate issues we are facing.
I always like to push people to consume less, repair your clothes and don't get caught up in owning everything that is marketed to you online. All of your needs are already catered for but, if you do want or need to buy than I have put together some great brands to give your money to.
Zulu + Zephyr: A beautiful basics and swimwear brand that uses recycled and ethically sourced biodegradable fibres.
Patogonia: This one speaks for itself and needs no introduction, an outdoor clothing brand that is for the planet. The founder is so committed to climate action he sold his company and donated the funds to fight climate change. They Upcycle, reduce their supply chain GHG emissions, provide safe working conditions, pay their workers well above a living wage, do not run ads on their products and have total production transparency .
Footwear is still an industry that needs to catch up with sustainable practises.
Lots of large fast fashion brands will market one 'sustainable' shoe, but by giving these brands your cash you're continuing to support the other harmful aspects of their business.
As always buy less, buy second hand and try to buy ethically where you can.

So far they have also allocated 19.41 hectares for a conservation reserve.

They advocate for the end of live animal export, plant based eating and stopping animal testing. They fund projects in the fields of conservation, carbon sequestration and wildlife protection. AES doesn't fund factory farming, conventional agriculture or deforestation projects. This super has 13x more shares in renewable infrastructure than any of the other benchmark shareholdings and has 2.5x the sustainable impact. With varying pH levels this machine is a one stop shop for all of your cleaning needs. No need to buy a bunch of different products, just push a button and you have everything you need. Eco modern essentials: This company sells essential oils that are ethically sourced. Utilising essential oils like this means no more buying nasty chemical cleaning products that can pollute our waterways.
