Abdullatif Al Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture for the design of Sheikha Salameh Mosque

In a distinguished ceremony on the 12th of March, Jeddah- KSA, Architect Shadi Abdulsalam on behalf of Jaffar Tukan Atelier of Consolidated Consultants Group was honored to receive the Award of Abdullatif Al Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture for the design of Sheikha Salameh Mosque in Alain in UAE. This is one of the most prestigious

awards in the Islamic World for Mosque Architecture chaired by his Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin AbdulAziz Al Saud. This is the 2nd Cycle covers mosques in all countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The Award pursues its vision by motivating and encouraging architects to compete among themselves for better role of Masjids’ Architecture in communities within the Sustainable measures of environmental issues, energy saving, lighting optimization, adequate sound treatment and architectural added value to the community.


The Skeikha Salameh Mosque is one of the key Islamic icons in the city of Al-Ain. Presenting a unique addition to the city’s skyline without altering the traditional Arabian character and the cultural uniqueness.

The development structure is a mosque that has replaced the old Sheikha Salameh Mosque. The new structure is two floors high, with a capacity of almost 4,800 worshipers, including a prayer hall designated for females.

The vision for the mosque was to develop an architectural design which blends the modern with the traditional, and remains in harmony with the surrounding traditional features of the urban context in which it resides.

In compliance with CC Group sustainability vision and the rapid market growth in Africa, Eng. Omar Amawi (CC Group Mauritania Area Manager) signed a new Design and Supervision Contract for Nouadhibou Business Center. The project is located on a 35,000m2 land. It

is composed of two buildings; a five stories business center that houses the shopping mall, a hypermarket, bank, restaurants, praying halls and a hotel on the upper floor with 31 keys and 10 suites. The second building is a 2 stories building that houses the exposition, with a total built area of 26,000m2.

What’s New CC Group Participation in JORDAN WEEK in Kenya

Through the JORDAN WEEK in Kenya, Consolidated Consultants Group was among the 180 business people and more than 60 Jordanian companies, representing the different business disciplines such as A/E Consultants construction, mining, food, pharmaceutical, chemical, agricultural, Dead Sea products, hospitals, ICT and engineering sectors.

The event, co-organised by the Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) and East Amman Industrial Investors Association (EAIIA), aims to find new markets for Jordanian products through acquainting east African countries with the Kingdom›s industrial and service products. Organisers also arranged bilateral meetings between representatives of the Jordanian private sector and their Kenyan, Tanzanian and Ugandan counterparts.

In a speech at the inauguration ceremony, Minister of Industry & Trade Yarub Qudah said that the activities aimed at boosting economic relations between Jordan and Kenya, and providing Kenyan products with an opportunity to benefit from the Kingdom’s geographical location and penetrate regional and international markets.


CC Group Participation in IAA Career Day

Consolidated Consultants Group has participated in International Academy Amman (IAA) School Career Day annual event that was hosted in IAA premises on the 14th of March 2017, where eleven professional companies and experts have been invited to

speak about their profession during a session based event that was interactive, providing the students with further insights regarding their career paths. During the event Architect Hiba Jarrar and eng. Husni

ERBIL MASS CITY Trillium Group is aiming to construct 1759 residential villas with 11 prototypes on a predefined Parcel D of the master plan located in Erbil City. The total land area is 1,054,720 sq.m, and it is located on the highway to Salah Addin and Shaqlawa. The project area is surrounded by several projects and landmarks. The architectural expression for the site will be integrated with the Iraqi and Kurdish culture and as indicated in the architectural style of the villas. The project period is 4 years from now including the design phases. Al-Qassim Project The Ministry of Housing (MOH) in KSA intends to implement a Housing Program over several years to cover the shortage in housing in the kingdom. AlQassim site, which occupies (10) million m2, is one of the chosen sites to implement Site and Services Project. PROJECT SITE Al-Qassim, is located in central region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Al Qassim. It is one of the thirteen administrative provinces of Saudi Arabia. It is located at the heart of the country; its population is more than 1 million; with total area of about 73,000 km². Buraydah is the capital of the Qassim Province. It lies equidistant from the Red Sea to the west and the Gulf to the east. It is located more than 300 km north of the Saudi capital, Riyadh. It is inhabited by approximately 37.6% of the region’s total population. The principal economy of Buraydah is agriculture. The project’s site is located within the development boundary of Buraydah structural plan. The second ring road of Buraydah passes along the North-Eastern border of the site, providing main access to the site. A regional railway track passes near by the project site infront of its northern boundary. The site, occupying around 9,867,227Sq.m, is located 17 km north east the city center

of Buraydah and 2.5km SouthEast Tarafiya village. Two additional sites, located to the north of the project’s site, are designated as future expansion for the project. The three sites together will provide the opportunity for establishing a comprehensive and integrated residential community along with Tarafi ya village. SCOPE OF WORK Al Qassim Project is divided into the following phases: ▪▪ Concept design ▪▪ Design development ▪▪ Detailed design & tender documentation ▪▪ IFC & Final Technical Report Main tasks that will be undertaken in the project include: ▪▪ Refine the ‘Design Brief’ and examine specific concepts available to achieve the project objectives.

Iraq Gate Iraq Gate residential complex project, consist of apartment blocks 49 units, open car parking lot for the users, commercial and service building; including (pump stations, water tanks, generator units, etc‌.), shopping center, police station, mosque, school and hospital in addition to landscaping areas and playgrounds. Residential zone occupied the upper side of the site; the distribution of the apartment block covered this zone in addition to landscape area (plaza) at the center between

the apartment’s blocks, and surface parking to serve these blocks. The site of the project is located in the center of Bagdad, and near the green zone, also you can find congress hall on the west side, railway station in the northwest, and Zawraa Park on the south-west side. The selected site was assigned for Muthana Airport, and now it will be occupied by Iraq Gate facilities and services, the site seems to be flat with total area 305,273m2.

Scope of Services Consultancy services start with reviewing architectural concept up to finalizing good for construction drawings in addition to the required specifications, Infrastructure Design and BOQ.
