Bib Numbers You will receive a bib number in your Race Packet. Make sure you wear the number you receive. Your number must be visible at all times during the event for safety reasons, and so the race announcer and race photographer can identify you.
Woodstock 5K Awards
On RACE MORNING, you will go to the CHIP TENT to receive a ChampionChip that you will attach to your shoe with bubble ties. Make sure the chip is secure! You must return the chip at the end of the race. This chip is programmed to coincide with your individual race number. It is imperative that you wear your assigned chip until you cross the finish line. Someone will take your chip from you after you finish. If you do not turn in your chip, you will be billed a $50 replacement fee.
Results/Awards are based on Chip Time (not Gun Time). There will be no “double-dipping” on awards. For example, if the winner of the 1st Place Overall Male is 40-years old, he will not collect the Masters (40-49) Award, too. If you sign up for the Clydesdale or Athena Division, you WILL be eligible for Overall Awards, but you will NOT be eligible for Age-Group Awards.
YOU MUST WEAR THE TIMING CHIP AND CROSS THE TIMING MATS TO BE SCORED!
Cash Prizes and signature bobblehead trophies will be awarded to the following:
