Meet the Visionaries SUDHI BANGALORE VICE PRESIDENT, INDUSTRY 4.0 STANLEY BLACK & DECKER
Sudhi Bangalore is Stanley Black & Decker’s Vice President of Industry 4.0. In this position, Sudhi will manage the Company’s Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence and lead our automation efforts with technologies such as the internet of things, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, 3-D printing, robotics and advanced materials. Prior to joining the Company in 2017, Sudhi was the Global Head of Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 Solutions with WIPRO, and before that was the Global Practice Head for Industrial Automation. Sudhi also held leadership roles with technology companies such as Danaher Corporation, Siemens and Rockwell Automation. He earned a Bachelor’s in Electronic Engineering from Bangalore University, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Louisville and an M.B.A. from Kent State University.

Meet the Visionaries CHRIS MAYER EXECUTIVE VP AND CHIEF INNOVATION OFFICER SUFFOLK CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC.
Chris is responsible for overseeing the company’s innovation initiatives, managing their execution, and measuring their results to achieve safer, high quality, and more affordable building. Prior to joining Suffolk, Chris was a consultant in the digital media and online education industries where his focus was on developing strategic technology plans that align with, and enable, successful business growth. Chris was also the publisher of The Boston Globe and president of The New England Media Group newspaper responsible for the Globe, Worcester Telegram & Gazette and boston.com. Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Yale University.

Meet the Visionaries HOLLY MCNAMARA SELECTMAN / ENGINEER PRESIDENT OF HYPERLOOP MA
Holly McNamara is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in 5 states, including Massachusetts, with a BS from Cornell University and an MS from UC San Diego in Structural Engineering. She has almost two decades of experience in project management, construction management, engineering design, and due diligence, and currently consults with several clients throughout the country. In addition to her career, she formed Hyperloop Massachusetts and is the President of the organization that is one of the 35 semifinalists chosen of the 2,600 applicants for the Hyperloop One Global Challenge (now Virgin Hyperloop One). She also has experience forming and working with 501c3 non-profits, as well as event planning and fundraising for many different groups. She had the once-of-a-lifetime experience to work alongside the CEO of Zappos.com to launch his best-selling book in 2010. Holly was born and raised in Somerset, Massachusetts. She left for graduate school out west in 1999, and after 14 years away, decided to move back to her hometown that raised her, to plant roots and be close to her family. She currently serves on the Somerset Board of Selectman and is proud to be able to serve and to give back to the community that raised her.

Meet the Visionaries MARIJKE SMIT PRINCIPAL MKTHINK
Marijke recently rejoined MKThink, a San Francisco-based think-tank for the built environment, as Principal and Partner. Prior to MKThink, Marijke led market growth for MKThink’s successful spin-off, Project Frog, a prefab sustainable building company. At Frog, Marijke was responsible for defining, expanding, and shepherding its component building solutions nationally in the education, civic and retail sectors. She has focused her career around optimizing the nexus between people and place, working with leading PK-14, university, and civic organizations to help optimize the economic and human potential of their built environments. Trained in history and urban planning at Columbia University and then Columbia’s Graduate School of Architecture in New York City, Marijke’s career has been influenced by a complex array of assignments, large and small. Her work is framed by a deep commitment to creating healthy, vibrant, and sustainable places -- a commitment that landed her on Building Design + Construction’s 2008 “40 Under 40” list. Prior to MKThink and Frog, Marijke directed the Strategies Group at Perkins Eastman Architects in NYC and led Community Affairs for the Moynihan Station Redevelopment Corporation. Her work has been featured in Wired Magazine, Preservation Magazine, and the New York Times, among other publications. She serves on the Board of the Willow Creek Academy, a public charter school in Sausalito California.

Other Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) initiatives in progress supporting the development of white papers that are focused on improving the healthcare built environment will also be discussed.
