RAYMOND ONEGLIA VICE CHAIRMAN O&G INDUSTRIES, INC. Ray is a third generation member of the Oneglia family. At 16 he was a scraper operator at the O&G Colebrook Dam project. He enlisted in the Army National Guard and then graduated from Union College. In 1970 he ran his first project - a sixteen mile sewer and roadway job. For the next 10 years, he was the General Superintendent overseeing O&G’s field operations. Ray has also overseen many business acquisitions resulting in O&G becoming one of the top asphalt, concrete, and aggregate material leaders in Connecticut. Further, Ray’s network and general outreach has resulted in successful relationships with the Perini Corporation and TutorSaliba which has led to joint venture partnerships coast to coast. Day-to-day business operations is shared with his brother David and cousin Greg and as his career evolves, he now views his current role as mentor, to his son Brad and other fourth generation family members as well as the many qualified men and women who will lead O&G’s future workforce. Ray is a tireless advocate for the construction industry and is committed to our local communities. He has held many volunteer positions, including President of the MOLES, Board Member of the BEAVERS, President of the Connecticut Road Builders Association, Chairman of the Connecticut Construction Industries Association, Board Member Connecticut Yankee Council Boy Scouts of America, and most recently, he graduated from the FBI Citizens Academy Program. Ray has also been a supporter of the Construction Institute since its earliest years as O&G joined the Institute in 1980. Happily married to Ellen Oneglia, Ray has three children and six grandchildren.

CAROLINA CUDEMUS-JONES DIRECTOR OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS – AMHERST
Mireya “Carolina” Cudemus-Jones is the Director for Design and Construction Management for the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Cudemus-Jones has over 20 years of experience in complex private and public commercial construction projects including healthcare, higher education and K-12 schools. Prior to joining UMass – Amherst, she served as a Pre-Construction Executive with Gilbane Building Company. Her responsibilities included her assignment as Deputy Director of a $1.7 billion School Reconstruction Program and Pre-construction Manager for the University of Connecticut as well as direct on-site construction management. Cudemus-Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master ’s in Business Administration. She is also a certified Design Build Institute of America Associate, a 2016 American Arbitration Association Higginbotham Fellow, and was recognized by the Connecticut Association of General Contractors as the 2016 Project Manager of the Year. She has dedicated three years as a member of the Board of Directors of the Construction Institute, has served as its Program Chair, and currently serves on the Board of Advisors.

ROBERT J. FALAGUERRA RETIRED SAINT FRANCIS HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER Robert Falaguerra was Vice President, Facilities, Design and Construction at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health of New England, from 1992 until his retirement in December 2018. He holds a Bachelor ’s Degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering from S.U.N.Y Maritime College, a Masters Degree in Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager. His experience includes over 45 years of healthcare facilities management, including Director of Engineering, Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, and Bronx Lebanon Hospital. Bob was Associate Executive Director, Engineering, Design and Construction at Bellevue Hospital and VP Facilities at Phelps Memorial Hospital. For 5 years he was VP Operations for Ogden Services Corporation. While at Saint Francis Hospital Bob was responsible for over $750 million of new construction and renovations including the 1993 Regional Cancer Center, 1996 Patient care Tower, 1997 Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, The Bergdorf Fleet Outpatient Facility, and 2011 John T. O’Connell Tower. Bob served on the Construction Institute Board of Advisors, was instrumental in forming the Facilities Owners Council and teaches a course in the Institute’s certification program. He is past president, board member and Fellow of The American Society of Healthcare Engineering of AHA. Bob has served on several NFPA standard writing committees and was chair of the hospital section of the Capital Region Emergency Planning Committee of CROG. His passions beyond his career include boating, golf, biking and family. He and his wife Colleen live in Old Lyme and have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.

RACHEL THAYER ACCOUNT MANAGER RESOURCE OPTIONS, INC.
Rachel Thayer is an accomplished Talent Acquisition professional focused on delivering results for her clients in the AEC industry. She currently manages the Consulting and Design Division for Resource Options, Inc.’s Wethersfield, CT office. In that capacity, Rachel is responsible for forging client relationships and overseeing the Consulting and Design Divisions recruitment strategy and delivery. Over the past 2 years, Rachel and her Consulting and Design team have connected hundreds of individuals throughout the AEC community with an opportunity; thus positively impacting the lives and careers of many. Prior to joining Resource Options Inc., Rachel studied Communications at Central Connecticut State University. She then traveled the world while working in the equestrian show jumping industry. In her spare time, Rachel can be found enjoying the outdoors with her 2 dogs and her fiancÊ.

Everett B. Anderson III works as a Marketing Assistant for HRP Associates Inc. and sits on the Communications Committee for the Construction Institute. After graduating from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor ’s of Science in Marketing, Everett began his career interning in the AEC industry before joining HRP Associates, Inc. in 2016. Everett has been an invaluable addition to HRP ’s Corporate Marketing Team, expanding the company’s capacity in design, coordination, communications, and most dramatically in the company’s social media presence.
