Please Note: Depending on the Way to Travel selected (* above), your Legacy Travel Group team member may greet you at your tour start location. Please see pages 6 -7 for information on Ways to Travel and your specific tour itinerary for more detailed tour information. On Preferred Partner Spotlight Tours*, you will be greeted by the Preferred Partner tour manager at your tour start location.

Transportation, Hotels & Meals: Motorcoach tours: For your enjoyment and comfort, depending on the tour destination and itinerary inclusions, Legacy Travel Group may adjust the size of the motorcoach to allow for more inclusive location access.

Air Tours: On Air, Land & Sea Discoveries*, Global Exploration*, and Engaging Escapes* tours, group air transportation is available as an optional upgrade package, and includes convenient pick-up and drop-off services. Our usual airport for departure and return is Chicago O’Hare, but please feel free to contact one of our Legacy Travel Group consultants for more information or alternative air gateways. Legacy Travel Group may not be able to always get the seat that you request (based on availability) and cannot guarantee the flight will be non-stop. Air tickets must match the Government issued photo ID that you will be using. Because of this requirement, Legacy Travel Group agents require a copy of your Photo ID before ticketing your air.

Ocean & River Cruise Vacations: To meet a variety of tastes, Legacy Travel Group selects cruises for value, diversity in exciting destinations and unique experiences. Legacy Travel Group will book the cabin category you request subject to availability. For cruises, the following documents are required for U.S. citizens: 1) A completed Passenger Declaration Form that we will send to you and must be returned to us before final payment, 2) A valid passport, and 3) Non-US citizens must carry their Permanent Resident Green Card (form I-551).

Hotel accommodations: A restful and relaxing night is important in your homeaway-from-home. Legacy Travel Group’s goal is to stay at 4-Star or better hotels and resorts. Please Note: Triple occupancy: Should you choose to occupy a room on a triple basis (3 people in one room) we cannot guarantee that there will be three beds available, that the room will comfortably accommodate a roll-away bed or that the roll-away will be as comfortable as a regular bed. Single occupancy: If you purchase a single reservation, this applies to the single accommodation in the hotel only and not to a single row on the motorcoach.

Meals: For your enjoyment, while on tour, Legacy Travel Group attempts whenever possible to support local businesses by dining at locally-owned restaurants. We feel this is important in two ways: 1) Locally owned businesses are the foundation for building strong and vibrant communities, and 2) Many times, unique cultural recipes to tempt the taste buds, a special setting or location, a historical theme and/or unique entertainment may be highlighted as part of the meal. Included meals are clearly noted in each day’s itinerary. B=Full Breakfast; DCB=Deluxe Continental Breakfast; CB=Continental Breakfast; L=Lunch; BR=Brunch and D=Dinner.

What Is Included: Please see specific itineraries for listed tour package inclusions. On motorcoach tours, Legacy Travel Group provides accommodations for one large suitcase per person. Please note: Should you wish to add supplementary pieces of luggage, there may be additional charges. There is no charge for carry-on luggage on motorcoach tours. Please note: Carry-ons are the responsibility of each traveler.

What Is Not Included: Personal expenses, incidental hotel charges such as movies, telephone calls, room service, laundry, meals not listed, alcoholic beverages, mini-bar charges, luggage fees and additional fuel surcharges as imposed by airlines or cruise lines are not included in the price of the tour. Gratuities for tour managers and drivers are also not included in tour cost.

Seat Rotation: To give every traveler an equal opportunity to see the sights, we follow a seat rotation policy on our motorcoach tours.


Smoking Policy: No smoking is permitted on any of our motorcoaches. In the hotels, we reserve non-smoking rooms. If you smoke in your non-smoking room, the hotel will charge you a minimum of $200 cleanup fee.

Baggage Responsibility: Every effort is made to handle guests’ luggage carefully. We cannot be responsible, assume liability or accept claims for loss or damage to luggage and personal effects due to breakage, theft, wear and tear or through hotel, airline and other group carrier handling.

Travel Documents: Documents are mailed approximately 10 days prior to departure.

Departure Locations: As appropriate for your tour, please check with Legacy Travel Group agents for pickup locations near you. Please note: We cannot guarantee the vehicle used for your transfer or that you will be the only passenger in the vehicle. After we have scheduled your pick-up and documents have been issued there will be a $50 per person fee charged for changing or altering your pick-up location.

Deposit & Trip Cancellation/ Interruption Protection: Deposit & Trip Cancellation/ Interruption Protection: A deposit, due within five (5) days of making your reservation, will hold your reservation. Each tour has the deposit requirement listed on that tour’s specific itinerary.

Trip Cancellation/Interruption Protection: For your financial protection and peace of mind, Legacy Travel Group recommends the purchase of Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance. Protection is available at an additional

cost on all tour and cruise programs. Travel Protection payments are not refundable. Please check with a Legacy Travel Group team member for your home state’s requirements for purchasing Trip Cancellation/Interruption Protection insurance.

Methods of Payment: Payments may be made by cash, personal check, American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit cards.

Extreme Circumstances: In the event of an act of God, war (declared or undeclared), terrorism, accident, natural disaster, outbreak of disease or other events beyond our control, Legacy Travel Group reserves the right to issue a credit for future travel with Legacy Travel Group in lieu of a money back refund.

Secure Flight Program: Airlines require government issued identification to be presented at the airport prior to boarding which shows proof of Last Name, First Name, Middle Name, Date of Birth, and Gender. Legacy Travel Group requires receipt of copies before final payment.

Membership: Please check the Activity Level on page 7 associated with each tour to make sure it is the right fit for you. Tour membership is open to all travelers and will not be withheld if Legacy Travel Group can furnish special requirements an individual may need. Should meeting these requirements materially add to Legacy Travel Group’s cost, the tour member will be expected to pay any associated costs. Legacy Travel Group and our tour manager retain the right to terminate the membership of

any member if any physical or mental handicap becomes apparent while on tour and causes hardship for the tour manager and /or other tour members. Legacy Travel Group is not responsible for any losses or damages to personal property, or for injuries, expenses or damages incurred or claims by any tour member. Legacy Travel Group is unable to provide transportation for travel home other than the transportation scheduled on the return date. Children must be at least 8 years old for motorcoach tours. Should you need a wheelchair on tour, there must be someone accompanying you that can push your chair. Tour managers, drivers or fellow passengers are not able to accommodate this need.

Responsibility: Programs are operated by Legacy Travel Group, or carefully selected Preferred Partners. Legacy Travel Group and the Preferred Partners are not responsible for any personal injuries, property damage, or other loss or expense arising out of the negligence or acts of any air carrier, hotel, cruise line or anyone rendering any of these services, nor shall they be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, injury or expense arising from any causes beyond their control, including (but not limited to) acts of God, riots, theft, epidemics, quarantines, floods, storms, strikes, medical or customs regulations, dangers incident to the sea, or air, strikes, acts of Government or other authorities (de jure or de facto), defaults, delays or cancellations of or changes in itineraries or schedules or for any loss or damage resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports or visas.

Reservation Guidelines change or fuel surcharges are assessed to us, Legacy Travel Group reserves the right to adjust the tour price up to the time of departure. Prices and cancellation penalties in this current brochure supersede any previously published prices. We reserve the right to correct any error in pricing, tour dates and inclusions on any tour.

Travel Deviations: There will be a $100 minimum per person charge for deviations from the listed tour departure or return dates. Changes to reservations after final payment is received and / or documents have been issued are considered a cancellation and charges may apply. Once any special tickets have been purchased, the tour is not refundable.

Identification Requirements State-issued driver’s license or identification cards All air passengers 18 years of age or older are required to have valid identification to fly within the United States. Beginning October 1, 2020, the REAL ID Act goes into effect. The Real ID Act establishes minimum security standards for state-issued driver’s licenses and

identification cards. The Act also prohibits Federal agencies from accepting for official purposes licenses and identification cards that do not meet these standards. Real ID drivers’ licenses and identification cards will usually show a gold star in the upper right-hand corner.

• Please Note: Travelers without proper documentation will not be entitled to a refund when they are denied travel.

Should you not have a Real ID, you may obtain one by contacting your state driver’s license agency for required documentation. You will need to go in person to present your documentation in order to get your REAL ID.

Passports • For United States’ citizens travelling to Canada and Mexico, on Caribbean Cruises, and ALL International Tour & Cruise Destinations a passport valid for at least six months after the return date of tour is required. • Non-citizens must have a valid passport (note: check to ascertain any validity restrictions), visa or alien card which permits re-entry. • The United States, Canada and many other countries have agreements barring any border crossings by people with a criminal history. Even a minor criminal conviction 50 years ago may cause entry to be refused. If asked about your criminal history, you

must answer truthfully. Information regarding each country’s entry restrictions will be found on their immigration website.
