Encarnación Vázquez is one of the most active and renowned singers of the Latin American music scene. She has performed at the most important venues accross continents and with the most important Opera companies such as Tokio, Berlin, Dresden, Madrid, Barcelona, Metz, Tel Aviv, Zimbabwe, SouthAfrica, New York, San Diego, San Antonio, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Mexico City, Buenos Aires and Caracas among many others, playing main roles in Don Giovanni, Faust, Cosi fan tutte, Ariadne, Le nozze di Figaro, The Barber of Seville, and La Clemenza de Tito, among other Operas. She has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors and has recorded eighteen CDs with music of different styles and periods that ranges from Mahler, Debussy, Fauré, Chávez, Revueltas to Mexican Contemporary Music. Pianist Alejandro Barrañón is a member of the Concertistas de Bellas Artes, a Mexican elite of Artists supported by the National Institute of Fine Arts of Mexico. He holds degrees from el Conservatorio Nacional de Música in Mexico, Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst, Longy School of Music and the University of Houston. Mr. Barrañón performs extensively as a soloist and collaborative pianist in Mexico, South America, and the US.
