INFRASTRUCTURE TRAINEESHIP: PROVIDING SCHOOL LEAVERS WITH A PATHWAY TO SUCCESS

The NSW government is calling for employers in the infrastructure and construction industry to commit to supporting NSW’s young people by taking on a trainee for 8 months commencing in February 2022.

The 2-year Infrastructure Traineeship will boost the professional experience of Year 12 school leavers who are interested in office-based infrastructure and construction roles.

An employer’s commitment will involve mentoring, supporting and giving in-depth experience so trainees can see projects through from planning to delivery.
