SCHOLARSHIPS AND GIVING
SCHOLARSHIPS AND GIVING
Scholarships and Giving Global Scholars Fund The Cal Poly International Center is committed to providing foundational experiential opportunities at home and abroad that equip graduates to solve complex challenges sustainably, ethically and inclusively. Scholarship support for study abroad and for international students is imperative to that effort. We award over $100,000 annually to students from scholarships from partner programs and donor-based scholarships such as those mentioned below. Consider giving to support our students! LINK: https://international.calpoly.edu/giving.html The Global Scholars Fund provides scholarships for outbound study abroad students and for inbound international students and scholars. The fund demonstrates our commitment to excellence and diversity, and makes clear that all students should have the opportunity to study or intern abroad, and that international students and scholars represent a valued aspect of diversity and resource to the campus.
ADRIAN ESTRADA - 4th Year Arch Student Don Floyd Memorial Scholarship Recipient “Never would I have imagined myself to be traveling to Europe to study architecture for 9 months, and yet here I am ready for this once in a lifetime opportunity. It is a great privilege to have this journey ahead of me and again would like to recognize the help of this scholarship for making it all possible.”
XAVIER CALDERA - 4th Year CM Student Gilman Scholarship Recipient Summer ‘19 “I’m extremely grateful to have been awarded the Gilman Scholarship because it made studying abroad a reality for me, a firstgeneration college student. It allowed me to learn in the Czech Republic while continuing to work towards my Construction Management Bachelor’s Degree.” For more information about study abroad scholarships, visit our website at: https://bit.ly/CPICscholarships
