INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND SCHOLARS In fall 2018, Cal Poly enrolled 320 matriculated international students from 68 countries, more than double the number of students from fall 2013. The campus also welcomed 79 nonmatriculated students this past academic year, as well as 91 international scholars.

STUDY ABROAD According to the Institute for International Education’s Open Doors publication, Cal Poly ranked third in the nation among master’s level universities in the number of students who studied abroad from 2016−2017.

1,468 students abroad in 2017–2018, with breakdown as follows:
