What would happen if you had to do a desk job for five days a week? Remember – a job like that comes with weekends and holidays! I’ve had desk jobs before and I don’t miss them! They do have their perks but the thought of being stuck at a desk for hours five days a week is not something that interests me. I enjoy being physically active, and meeting and working with people to get them to a better place. Besides I’m too fidgety to sit all day.
Ceza at a stretch This is what a business dynamo looks like: Hanwell’s Ceza Ouzounian is a Pilates instructor, Arbonne consultant, public speaking trainer, actor, and now Burlexercise tutor (think burlesque meets cardio). She explains how all this fits together in real life. So: how do they all fit together? Does each of your businesses have its own day or time-slot, or does everything get worked on at the same time? My schedule is broken up with different activities. Classes, for instance, have a set time, but everything else I fit around my client’s and my own timetable. And do the businesses feed off each other? For example does someone have a shower with Arbonne products after a

Pilates or BurlExercise class, and then sign up for a public speaking session with you because they saw you on stage? The three businesses allow my clients to feel great from the inside out, helping them to feel confident. Arbonne’s nutritional range works with exercise to feel amazing on the inside; while the vegan, toxin-free skin/hair care and make-up helps the client feel good on the outside. When you feel amazing, your confidence shines through.
Q&A
You studied engineering at university; does anything you learned there still come in handy nowadays? Being a geek means I approach things scientifically. I’m interested to understand how the body works, how food, exercise and toxins affect it, why certain things happen. This way I can provide a more effective package to my clients. It’s the Hanwell Hootie live music festival on Saturday. Will you be checking it out? I will be checking out the Hanwell Hootie, looking forward to a good day out. ceza.co.uk @OnlyNature_ OnlyNatureSkincare – Carlene Bender

Ali’s kind of pretzels EALING BROADWAY The smell of warm cinnamon sticks – and the chance to sneak a quick sample – so familiar to Westfield shoppers; now we can have the same experience in Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre. Auntie Anne’s branch manager Ali adds “it’s similar to Westfield, but we’re doing it differently in Ealing.”
