Zio Ziegler (born February 18, 1988) is an American artist, known for his intricately patterned paintings and his large-scale murals that can be seen in major cities in the U.S., Europe and Asia. His work reflects the diverse influences of late medieval and quattrocento painting, aboriginal, African and naive art, and the European graffiti movement. Driven by intuition and depicted with a playful use of space and materials, his subject matter reflects the human condition, with reference to allegorical, mythical and artistic lineage. He paints in the belief that his paintings complete themselves by triggering self-discovery in their viewers.

Marco Di Giovanni Marco Di Giovanni (Teramo, Italy 1976) attended the Accademia di Belle Arti and the DAMS in Bologna and from the beginning his interest of research is oriented to the performance, developping simultaneously a general aspect linked to the object that is able to live independently after the performing moment. Starting from 18th May 2014, his last birthday, and for a whole year, Marco Di Giovanni has made ink drawings on bechéri (butcher’s) paper of everything he has eaten and drunk, except water; Everything: chewing-gum and salted snacks, sweets and pastries, lamb and saltimbocca, kebabs and stews, prawns and sea bream, soups and tortellini, etc... 1976 Teramo, İtalya doğumlu Marco Di Giovanni, Bologna’daki Accademia di Belle Arti ve DAMS’ta eğitim aldı. İhsan Oturmak Karavil Contemporary is pleased to participate to CI 15 with Turkish artist Ihsan Oturmak. Oturmak searches out photographs from bygone eras particularly schools and military facilities where his fascination with institutions and the psychology of groups can be explored. He transports these images onto canvas or board in paint. Despite the influence from the changing Turkish society, Oturmak still focuses on exploring the more universal nuances of basic human behaviour that remain unchanged; childhood friendships and fall outs, the awkward nature of growing up and learning about oneself all intensified by its play out within an institution. Karavil Contemporary, CI’15’e Türk sanatçı İhsan Oturmak’la katılmaktan mutluluk duyar. Oturmak, mazide kalmıș dönemlerden fotoğraflar arar- özellikle de kurumlara ve toplulukların psikolojisine duyduğu merak giderebileceği okul ve askeri tesis fotoğraflarını. Oturmak, bu görselleri tuval ya da BOARD’a boyayarak tașır. Değișim halindeki Türk toplumunun etkisine rağmen Oturmak, insan davranıșındaki evrensel, değișmez ince ayrıntılara odaklanıyor: Çocukluk arkadașlıkları ve kavgaları, büyümenin sancılı doğası ve insanın kendini tanıması – tüm bu süreçlerin bir kurum içinde șiddetli bir șekilde vuku bulması.

Propaganda is presenting a solo show of the Polish conceptual artist Adam Jastrzębski. His vinyl is an unending project of building pictural objects based on two technical principles: growth and accumulation. It is free of arbitrary content, natural and autonomous. It tells the dialectical story of the form. Vinyls are described by Vinylogos artificial language. Vinylogos was created as a reflection of the Vinyl, but became an independently evolving phenomenon.

Jastrzebski’nin Vinil’i; iki ana teknik prensibe bağlı olan resimsel objeler yaratmayı hedefleyen, sonu gelmez bir proje: büyüme ve birikme prensipleri. Keyfe keder bir içerikten uzak, doğal ve otonom. Biçimin diyalektik hikayesini anlatıyor. Viniller, yapay lisan Vinylogos ile betimleniyor. Vinylogos aslında Vinyl’in bir yansıması olarak yaratıldı, ancak bağımsız ve sürekli evrim geçiren bir fenomene dönüștü.
