She sounds happy and appreciative when she says, “The Town of Collierville and the other businesses have been so welcoming to me. Right now, A Perfect Bloom operates with five employees and “depending on how it goes,” the number of employees could expand. There’s no doubt the entrepreneur has enough ideas to keep an army busy, with the new gift shop and the idea of an event center whispering in her ear.

As Boyd takes a moment to examine the rapid growth of A Perfect Bloom in just a few short years, she must harken to those days of adolescence when she dropped her hands into the soil and began to share the same pleasure her aunt enjoyed — watching beauty emerge from the soil. She may have come a long way from those early experiences, but, no doubt, the memories of watching her aunt create a beautiful arrangement remain. Now Boyd gets to experience the joy of knowing that A Perfect Bloom’s floral arrangements bring a similar joy to so many others.
