Haute Men’s Fashion WILLIAM MALTESE
Wearing Your Leathers Uptown As a young man, I was invited to dinner at Gaddi’s, Hong Kong’s elegant preeminent restaurant. I wore Brioni tuxedo pants, a white mock-turtleneck formal shirt, Gucci black-onyx studs and cufflinks, Gucci belt and shoes. At the last minute, I decided against the Brioni tuxedo jacket and went with the Gucci black-leather bomber jacket purchased that morning. I met my host in The Peninsula Hong Kong hotel lobby, Gaddi’s on the first floor, and I could tell by the look he gave me, although he was diplomatic enough not to say so, that he doubted the jacket would pass the dress-code inspection enforced at the restaurant’s front door. While he appeared less worried after the maître d’ showed us to our table without comment except for greetings — welcome to Gaddi’s … your waiter, Phllipe, will be with you shortly … enjoy your meal — that changed when Leo Gaddi, himself, headed in our direction. No doubt my host suspected I was about to get kicked out on my ass by the head honcho. “Not to worry, Gordon,” I said, leaning over the table. “I’ve covered my butt by having left the tuxedo jacket on a chair just inside my hotel-room door.” Since I was checked into The Peninsula, a change of clothes was only a short elevatorride away. Leo Gaddi provided us with a cordial hello. “My friend’s motorcycle is parked outside,” my host said; although my jacket was “bomber” not “motorcycle”. “Harley or BMW?” Leo Gaddi asked with smiled. “Actually, the young man looks genuinely elegant, this evening. Fashion constantly changes, and leave it to the adventuresome young to be in the vanguard.” I dined at Gaddi’s many times after that, either with friends or alone. Inevitably, if Leo Gaddi was in the house at the time, he’d stop by to say hello. Every time, whether I was wearing leather or not, he’d ask if my motorcycle was parked outside. The point being that if you want to be considered a fashion innovator, as opposed to a follower … nothing wrong with the latter … not taking risks is like never getting the answer to a question simply because you never asked. I still pair that Gucci bomber jacket with formal wear. Just the other day, I pulled my genuine motorcycle jacket out of my closet to do the same for a charity event. It and I looked damned good if I do say so myself … and I do.
Cover Model Shinata Sangha I truly feel blessed, honored, and humbled with the opportunity Gordon Flynn gave me to appear as the front cover girl of Contessa’s Court USA Magazine. Thank you so much Gordan you are an amazing human being, dreams really do materialize. I have always believed in Karma and what goes around comes around. So if you spread love and positivity, love, positivity, and good things will come back to you. Never generate hate because the only way it can be stopped is with a kind action, and kindness today has become very rare, it doesn’t hurt to be a good human being or kind, kindness takes you a long way in life. I love life on the edge, I guess that makes me a little unpredictable and a little dangerous, but let’s face it there's never a dull moment when I'm around, the edge to me is where the passion lies where feelings and sensuality collide where living is all about being alive, my motto in life is simple, smile and the world will smile with you. I'm Shinata Sangha, 26 years old and a British-Anglo Indian established model, former beauty queen, and show girl. I have always wanted to fight for the rights for the LGBT community and appearing not just on the cover but inside the esteemed Contessa’s Court USA Magazine provides me with a platform to voice and view my opinions, a platform to raise awareness and visibility to others worldwide who will hear my story of triumph and struggles I have faced coming from the South Asian LGBT Community. LGBT is still seen as a huge stigma, controversial, and a big taboo amongst the South Asian Community which is rarely talked about openly, either you are shunned from society, boycotted or disowned. Many out of fear never speak out, or get a chance to seek and see their potential and to follow their dreams. I wanted to carve a niche not just for myself but for the younger South Asian LGBT community in particular to break barriers and raise awareness to show the world that Tgirls are also talented, beautiful and caring that we deserve to be treated with dignity, grace, respect, and equals just like the rest of humanity, without prejudice and discrimination.
In 2006 at the tender age of 16 I wanted to live my dreams so I entered a beauty pageant called Miss Glamour Queen United Kingdom. I was lucky to win and the success continued I went on to win Outstanding Achievement award in Queen of Nations International tgirl pageant in 2007, runner up in Miss Alternative London 2007 and Miss Mango Tree International 2006. My dream is to compete in the world’s most prestigious international pageants for tgirls called Miss International Queen which take place in Thailand, which is a pageant I am working towards. From depression, stress, anxiety, bullying, betrayal, hatred, backstabbing, and several suicide attempts I still made it and am alive I managed to live my dreams and make them a reality through guts, hard work, dedication, and determination, but most importantly I always remained humble. I call it my Cinderella story from rags to riches. It has taken me a long time to realize who I am and be comfortable in my own skin. Now, I want to be a guiding light for other members of the LGBT Community and help them to find their feet. Embrace yourselves and be brave and see the light at the end of the tunnel. You to deserve to live and share your story as an inspiration and became a legacy. Live your dreams and remember life is beautiful, never be ashamed of who you are. lots of love and best wishes Shinata Sangha INSTAGRAM – www.instagram.com/Shinatasanghaofficial FACEBOOK- www.facebook.com/shinatainternational YOUTUBE - www.youtube.com/Shinata1 TWITTER – www.twitter.com/shinatasangha4u MUA-Shinata Sangha using M.A.C Cosmetics on all images of Shinata Sanha

Interview with Stacy Layne Matthews By Wanda Julian
How long have you been performing in drag? I have been doing drag since the summer of 2002. It all started when my cousin put me in drag for a Halloween contest.... The judges were unaware of what my costume was.... They just thought I was a female dressed up in nice clothing. I had to convince them otherwise. What was it like to be on Ru Paul’s Drag Race? l enjoyed the experience but coming into the competition I had never been exposed to anything like that. I had never been on a place and I had never been to the west coast. So it was a total cultural shock. How did things change after you were off the show? Thinks changed drastically. I began to travel, and I was given some amazing opportunities. I was able to work with some amazing people like Monique the comedian. I even had my own show off broadway in New York City where i portrayed her in a mock version of her Talk show from BET network. Would you do Ru Paul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 if you had the chance? I would totally do Season 3 of Allstars..... I feel that when I was on Drag race the first time I wasn't given the opportunity to showcase my true talents. I was totally reserved on the show and held back which is totally not like me at all. So if I were given that opportunity I would take full advantage of it. Where do you normally perform at? Right now I am just traveling doing shows in different states. The club that I use to work at was sold and was bought by someone else. Even though it is still a Gay club I hardly ever work there.
How do fans get you to come to their city? Usually show directors reach out to me or I reach out to them to discuss me coming to their city to do a show/performance/meet the fans. What is your favorite song to perform to? It is a little played out but I always love doing a good Jennifer Hudson from Dream Girls the Muscial. I love a good power ballad! What is your favorite costume that you wear? Always love giving a good fully rhinestoned gown. What are some goals and dreams you would like to fulfill? Before Drag Race I was attending a 4 year University for nursing.I would love to revisit that and continue my Degree. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? In 5 years I see myself finishing school. Maybe not completely retiring from Drag but it would not be my main focus in life. I wanna branch out and do other things like music. Music was my first passion before drag. As well as Theater. Theater was where I discovered my Drag Persona. I found my voice in theater because I was able to be whom ever i wanted to be and not be judged for it. After theater came drag then Drag Race and then Pageants. I have competed in about 8 pageants and have won 6 of them. I am currently Miss Universal Large and Lovely.... Miss Illusion Continental Plus... Miss Fayetteville Unlimited...and Miss Capital City Ohio.

Summer Trend 2016, traditional Vietnamese Iced Coffee, a must try this season. If you ask any coffee enthusiast what they think Vietnam is known for, the first thing that will come out of their mouths, is coffee. Be it the fantastic coffee related culture in Vietnam or the delicious and unique coffee that is brewed there, some may mention how the quality of coffee in Vietnam can vary greatly, depending on where you get it. While some roasters put additives into their coffee to give artificial flavor or color, some companies, such as Farmer’s Blend Coffee, strives for perfection when it comes to their beans. Farmer’s Blend Coffee chooses only the best locally grown Vietnamese coffee sourced directly from local farmers in the highlands and beautifully roasts with a mix of real butter and rum, producing a deliciously smooth brew full of complex flavors and low acidity. Farmer’s Blend Coffee really knows what good coffee is, and does it right. Despite the fact that Vietnam is the world’s second largest coffee producer, it wasn’t always so. The French brought coffee to Vietnam in the 1800’s, and it grew from there. Nowadays Vietnam exports a staggering 20 Mio. bags per 60 kg to roasters all around the world. One of the popular drinks in Vietnam is their take on iced coffee <cà phê sữa đá>, consisting of creamy sweetened condensed milk, perfectly brewed coffee, and ice. But why sweetened condensed milk? Back when this form of coffee was just starting out, milk was extremely scarce and difficult to come by. Because of this shortage, sweetened condensed milk was very attractive during this time period, as it lasts pretty much forever, and because how good it is at cutting any bitterness that could be found in the commonly very dark roast coffee that was popular in Vietnam. Vietnamese iced coffee is perfect for a hot summer day to relax with, and for a tasty and quick energy boost to get through the day. To brew Vietnamese style iced coffee, you will need 1. A Phin coffee maker 2. 15 to 20 grams, Farmer’s Blend Coffee, available on amazon.com 3. Ice 4. A glass 5. 1 to 2 teaspoons of sweetened condensed milk. While any brand of sweetened condensed milk will work just fine, it is recommended to use one with a fat content, as it will make the resulting coffee even creamier. 6. 6 to 8 oz. Hot water, just below boiling point. First, open that can of sweetened condensed milk, and pour about a tablespoon or two, depending on your tastes, into the bottom of the glass. Don’t forget to lick the spoon as it is delicious.
Next, place the phin over the glass, and scoop 15 to 20 grams of medium-coarse ground Farmers Blend Coffee into the phin. Then, pour a small amount of the hot water into the phin to bloom the coffee. Blooming is a process that allows gases to escape, and creates a more even cup of coffee. Once water has started to drip down into the glass, add hot water to the top of the phin, put the lid on, and watch the coffee slowly drip into the glass, and splatter into the sweetened condensed milk. While slowly dripping, use the time wisely for yourself, people watching, reading a magazine or newspaper or just enjoy valuable time with family or friends, because this is what real Vietnamese Coffee is all about. Enjoying the time you have while waiting for something wonderful. When the coffee is finished brewing, take the phin off, and use a spoon to evenly mix the freshly brewed coffee into the sweetened condensed milk. After mixing, add ice to the top of the glass, and enjoy.

Rethinking Your True Potentials By Rocky Krogfoss
With planetary energies now more supportive of taking action, don't be surprised if you feel more confident to take steps you couldn't take before. Tip: be present, positive, and unbound by past attempts to achieve goals. Now is new! In this article, I address some of the challenges of being alive as a conscious being in these moments. As you know these are not ordinary times, and each of us is being called to connect with our extraordinary light-filled selves. Wake Up for Divine Changemakers It is vital that we increasingly embody what we have learned and what we know to be true about our real power to create. Divine changemakers like us across this planet are waking up to truths long hidden and rediscovering our divine quantum nature. At this vital stage, our awakening must be more than ideas and words. We must embrace our own power and use it constructively to help change our world. No one is going to do this for us. We are the ones here to lead by example. We must find practical day-to-day outlets to use our gifts and awareness - applying what we know within our hearts. As I wrote about recently, July is a foundational ground for anchoring more of your heart-felt wishes into physical form. What you set in motion this month will set the stage for a much more expanded canvas of opportunities and progression in the weeks ahead.
Sometimes when the world is in turmoil there's a tendency to either get distracted or just off track. Motivation can be hard to come by, or if it's there, the outer world dramas can be so consuming to process that desired personal actions are delayed. Yes, we are quantum, but we still live within the constructs of time to schedule meetings and take care of business. And yes, we do care about the world's atrocities like those in Dallas, Orlando, and countless other places. However, we must become skilled in managing our energy and time so that our higher purposes are not overshadowed by the world's parade of dramas. Avoid the Wave of Fear There is a wave of fear moving across this world in these times of great change. Avoid jumping into that wave by staying in your heart and applying love in all situations. Love is more powerful than any atrocity you are witnessing now. It is the force that will set you and humanity free. If you are not sure what to put your faith in right now, focus on the power of love and the miracles it creates. Do not let the world's division and darkness convince you that humanity is doomed. Lift your mind above the smoke and mirrors of delusion to remember your divine nature and your true power to create a reality based on love. Responding to Current Energies Energies now are more supportive of taking the positive actions you have longed to take. Simultaneously, cosmic forces will stir some challenges in the following areas. Having foresight about these trends can help you navigate the ups-and-downs of our current cycle.
Boundaries and Balance: the question here is whether you can maintain appropriate boundaries and balance as you relate to others. One way to gauge this is to consider whether you go out of your way to be fair to others but leave yourself out of the equation. For most people, this is a juggling act, and especially for women who are conditioned to be the endless nurturers of others. Neutrality: with energies stirring a host of power games and manipulation, your challenge is to stay neutral and avoid reacting when others either project their own issues or use passive-aggressive ploys as a means of control. Easier said than done, of course, but your wise divine changemaker self is developing mastery in this arena. Staying Centered: during some roller-coaster energies unfolding this week, you may be challenged to find and hold your center point. Extreme emotional highs may be followed by lows, especially if you feel that your needs are not being met or that you are not being heard. For optimal outcomes, come back to your center often and regroup - count to 10 or even 100 if you need to, before making the next move. Keep in mind the big picture of why you are alive now. Come back to that daily. Remind yourself of the boundless support you truly have as you walk the Earth. You are never alone or abandoned. On an energetic level, you walk with countless helpful beings - some in human or animal form, others from the realms of spirit. What you will discover eventually is that regardless of where or how you live, there are other divine changemakers like you who have shared your long journey to get to this pivotal juncture. Some day you will reunite with all of them in a most amazing dance of celebration of the light each of you embody.

THE GLUTEN-FREE WAY: MY WAY WILLIAM MALTESE
It was rather like watching the scene in the movie Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde when Frederic Marsh transforms into someone entirely different. Looking red-faced and twitchy, my niece’s husband just suddenly jerked the car to the curb and brought us all to a sudden stop. “Adrienne, you have to drive!” he told his wife. At just about one and the same time, their two kids suddenly seemed equally possessed. They started bouncing on the backseat and began arguing up a storm. What had been comparatively quiet, during our ride to have cream puffs at the non-gluten section of a local bakery, had turned chaotic within a few short seconds. “Obviously, the bakery’s pots, pans, cookie sheets and utensils have been cross-contaminated by having had gluten-containing bakery goods prepared in them before the gluten-free,” Adrienne told me, taking the wheel from her husband. Having an entire family, except for her, allergic to gluten, she has learned, the hard way, to recognize all the signs. “Some food-service providers don’t understand, to this day, that gluten can securely lodge within cooking equipment, despite thorough washings, and leech out into any gluten-free produce prepared after.” Gluten allergies have existed in the shadows for years, doctors misdiagnosing the symptoms as merely hormonal changes, inner-ear caused dizziness, upset stomach, arthritis, simple fatigue, migraines, digestive problems, anxiety, lack of concentration, depression, or “I’m afraid I can’t find anything wrong with you at all.” Recently, though, the truth has emerged. More and more physicians and patients are realizing that the reason for constantly feeling bad is Celiac Disease, an allergy to gluten (any of the prolamins in wheat, rye, barley, and possibly oats) which can be found just about anywhere, including in your shampoo or in the wine you drink. My niece was the ideal person with whom I could team to write, The Gluten Free Way: My Way: a glutenallergy help book that, also, provides the recipes for some delicious gluten-free dishes on the side. Adrienne made a thorough excavation of her house and threw out all her China, pots, pans, and utensils, as well as anything in her pantry, bathroom, or wherever, that had been exposed to gluten, and replaced them all with new. Since that fateful day, her home has been gluten-free, her children and husband in one-hundred percent better health than before the purge. If you’re continually finding yourself feeling bum, this book might well be a must-read epiphany for you.

A Field of Landmines called “Family
Ponder this absurdity: Why do we all let family members inflict pain on us when you would never allow a stranger to inflict the same pain? If you answered because it is family and we owe it to our family to be the punching bag: Congratulations! You are a victim of this insanity! You believe it is the rule you must follow!! Well, I have news for all those who allow family members to inflict pain, whether it physical pain or abusive language and controlling behaviour. The gig is up!!!! One of my deepest passions is taking old ridiculous rules that have been handed down by cultures, societies, religions and people for generations and throwing them in the garbage bin, with absolutely NO GUILT!! If you think about it, especially if you are a woman, you surrender your freedom and power to a litany of societal and family rules and expectations that keep you stressed out or worse. Focusing on family: 1) Allowing a parent, sibling or relative to talk down to you, try to control you or verbally abuse you is not on any more! 2) Allowing any family member to physically assault you in any fashion is definitely not on anymore! 3) Using money to control your tolerance of bad behaviour from a family member who has a lot of money is not on anymore! 4) Lying, cheating, stealing or manipulating you for the purposes of defrauding resources is another major form of abuse and it is not on anymore!
5) Sexual assault is clearly not on anymore!!! No Brainer!!! The problem is that we are all so heavily programmed to buy into these horrible rules because of shame and guilt, especially from the churches that want the family to stay together no matter what is going on... nonsense!! You do have a choice in every situation that you feel you have no choice in; You could JUST SAY NO! Now it takes courage to detach your-self from family abuse, this is true. There will be those who are nauseatingly righteous and call you down. There may be a circling of the family wagons to alienate you, and make you feel that you are not “one of us. What I am here to tell you is that if you are suffering abuse at the hands of family members, you definitely do have a choice. The choice you have is to say NO to abuse clearly and walk away, no matter what they may say. Now by doing this you empower your-self to feel the grace of freedom by not allowing abusive behaviour to continue. You are worthy of love in EVERY BREATING MOMENT! That means that you can take care of your needs to be respected and loved by removing yourself from those situations and celebrate your new found stress free life. That alone makes the exercise a valuable choice for you to make. Think about it, do you want to be with people who love you, or people who abuse you!! AS I said in the introduction, just because it is family and the unwritten rule is you have to tolerate family abuse, is a behaviour that you would never tolerate from a stranger. If family is abusive, you then have EVERY RIGHT to walk away to a sanctuary of your own peace of mind away from the abuse.
I teach a very simple energetic exercise that allows you to block abusive behaviour within your own power to be respected. It is called Block and Walk! While you are in a state of relaxation, you can set the intention to block abusive energy by simply moving your hand from your heart and pushing outwards, while saying NO!! No more abuse. It means that you can choose to simply walk away from any abuse immediately, and do not join the conflict in any way. NO more excuses, no more justification, no more abuse, PERIOD! You can learn more about Emotional Energy and how you can take back control of your life by going to this link, and watch the video. You will see how emotional energy works and how you can become aware of your own power of love to eliminate abusive energy: forever! You are born to be free, you were never meant to be suffering in a prison of family abuse. Choose freedom and free yourself of the inevitable chronic pain illnesses that such abuse will create.
