I met my fiance Waylon Pitcher in Sarasota Florida. He was working at an AMC theater an we'd just recently moved to Florida. We met when my kiddo an I went to go see a movie with what we thought was a little spare money we had at the time. Waylon an I connected immidialtely which is funny since he was a ticket ripper/greeter. I don't think many people give people in that particular job much attention but he was unique an had a very infectious smile. We exchanged numbers after the movie an kept in contact after that. He helped us out when we came into hard times in our hotel room an kept us afloat until we got an apartment. Fast forward a month an he was coming to spend every other weekend with us. March of 2019 he moved in with us. May of 2019 we were engaged an have been ever since. My family adores him which is saying a lot lol. I've met his sister's an they are nice an seem to accept me in his life. Waylon isn't a healthy person, he's a lot of health issues that require a lot of time an attention. It doesn't matter though, I do my best to keep him as healthy as possible an help him to recover from several surgeries he's had. I'm not sure how long We have together before he leaves this world, but I'm making the best of the time we have. I look forward to each moment each memory we make. He's not only a wonderful inspiration for others with serious disabilities but he's also a wonderful father. He was thrown into fatherhood when we got together an is step dad to a now 19 year old daughter. She had just turned 17 when he an I got together. He hopes to adopt her as his legal daughter, its something we all want to have happen. We're soon to move back to the West Coast once we've saved enough money an his health permits the move. Family is highly important to me an we're wanting to move closer to my family, to our daughter who we miss incredibly bad.
