Sustainable Bliss at Broughton Hall
If you are after an eco-retreat in beautiful surroundings look no further than Yorkshire’s Broughton Hall, the perfect location for a whole host of sustainable and eco-conscious activities tried and tested by the Dream Escape team. Wellbeing was at the heart of our Broughton Hall retreat. Favourite activities included relaxing at the Avalon Centre, with its organically designed meditation chambers, pool suite, and yoga sessions. Taking a walk around the estate grounds with the resident forager was a fascinating insight into natural food sources, as well as the dos and don’ts of foraging. Later we were treated to foraged hors doeuvres and dinner at the Utopia bistro. Designed by Sir Michael Hopkins, this is set within Dan Pearson’s walled garden and is an experimental dining experience like no other, with a focus on naturopathic, restorative, plant-based foods. enquiries@dreamescape.co.uk
