GRAPHIC DESIGN Graphic Design Charges will exceed the base rate quoted contingent upon the complexity of the work required. If Contraband Magazine designs your ads, there will be additional charges.
ARTWORK GUIDELINES & DEADLINES The deadline for delivery of ALL client-supplied ad materials including copy and layout instructions for all advertising designed by Contraband Magazine is 10 business days prior to the issue date. Accepted forms of Digital files are CD / DVD, or Email. Client must notify the art/ production department when sending any files via E-mail. Film supplied artwork will not be accepted.

If Contraband Magazine is designing your advertisement, keep in mind that we are a digital design department and scan almost everything. Because of this it is important to remember these guidelines.
1. MACINTOSH COMPUTERS: Contraband Magazine works exclusively on Macintosh computers. Thus we can only accept Mac-compatible files. Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat are the programs used. Files should be created at 300 dpi. Pagemaker and Freehand files are not accepted. PC files are not recommended.
2. DIGITAL FILES: Artwork can be sent in the following for-

mats; CD or DVD. Submitted media must include all images and fonts necessary to replicate the file. Pagemaker and Freehand files are not accepted.
3. ELECTRONIC DELIVERY: Contraband Magazine can accept advertising files by E-mail. Important to note: the client must notify the art/production department in advance of sending any files via E-mail.
