WHEN YOU WORK AT THE INTERSECTION OF DESIGN, CRAFTSMANSHIP AND ART YOU SIMPLY CANNOT SETTLE FOR THE ORDINARY. A LONG TIME AGO WE FOUND OUT THAT WE ARE TOO CURIOUS TO JUST OBEY OUR PROUD SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN ROOTS. WE WANT TO CHALLENGE THEM, BREAK THEM AND BUILD UPON THEM.

WE ARE NEW WORKS WELCOME.

WE WORK TO CREATE OBJECTS THAT ARE NOT JUST COMFORTABLE AND FUNCTIONAL, BUT ALSO INTERESTING TO LOOK AT. OUR FIRST COLLECTION CONSISTS OF SCULPTURAL VISIONS MADE BY INTERNATIONALLY ACKNOWLEDGED DESIGNERS, WHO NEVER SETTLE FOR THE AVERAGE, BUT ALWAYS WORK BY MARYLN’S FAMOUS WORDS “IT IS BETTER TO BE ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAN ABSOLUTELY BORING”. WE ARE NEW WORKS, WELCOME.

01. NATURAL WE LOVE THE SIMPLICITY OF PURE NATURE AND WE HAVE THE UTMOST RESPECT FOR THE MATERIALS WE WORK WITH. OUR OBJECTS WILL AIM TO CELEBRATE THE CORE VALUES OF EACH MATERIAL TO BUILD UPON THE EXPRESSIONS THAT ARE GIVEN TO US BY NATURE.

02. EXPERIMENTAL THROUGH EXPERIMENTS WITH FORMS, MATERIALS AND FUNCTION WE WILL PUSH THE BOUNDARIES FOR WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM A PIECE OF DESIGN WORK. WE WILL ALWAYS STRIVE TO CREATE INTERESTING SILHOUETTES AT THE INTERSECTION OF ART AND DESIGN.

03. ROUGH FOR US ROUGHNESS IS WHAT BRINGS HONESTY INTO THE WORK WE DO. WITHOUT BEING PRETENTIOUS WE AIM TO HAVE A ROUGH EXPRESSION IN THE ELEMENTS WE USE AND THE OBJECTS WE PRODUCE. OUR MATERIALS ARE NATURAL, OUR COLOURS ARE DARK AND OUR STATE OF MIND IS OPEN.

04. CRAFTSMANSHIP WE ARE ROOTED IN A SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN TRADITION WHERE CRAFT IS A PREREQUISITE. WE RESPECT OUR HERITAGE, BUT WE ALSO WANT TO USE OUR SKILLS TO PUSH THE TRADITIONS AND CHALLENGE THEM WITH NEW WAYS AND NEW METHODS.

GEAR CANDLE HOLDER One day Rikke went to DieselHouse, an engine museum in Copenhagen. You don’t have to look at the Gear Candle Holder for long to see that the visit sparked some ideas in Rikke’s mind. The design has a very industrial, almost mechanical look, which gives an interesting appearance to the candle light as it’s function is radically diﬀerent from the industrial environment. The candle holders come in Gold, Cold Grey and Graphite Black in two sizes, that can stand together or alone. Design Rikke Frost

A FRAME PICTURE FRAME People often have a tendency to underestimate the importance of framing. That’s a shame because all artwork needs great framing. A Frame is a flexible series of frames in various materials that fits all artwork within the measures. The framing plate works as a passe-partout, emphasizing the artwork, no matter the size.
