THE AWAKENING STRENGTHENING THE
MINISTRY ISAIAH 54
Intercession Schedule
Hours 1
Let us pray for the anointing of joy, gladness and dance to come in fullness upon the Church: “Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud” (v.1a). It is time for us to rejoice! We must understand that the Lord is pleased when we come before Him with a joyful heart. Let us consider the example of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, who leaned on God, ordered the priests to praise God and the Lord gave them the victory (2 Chronicles 20:20-24). Let us also observe the example of queen Esther, who came before the king with joy and obtained his favor (Esther 5:2).
Hours 2
Let us pray so that we can spread out in the right way. Let us cry out to reach growth, multiplication, reproduction and expansion to other cities. “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities” (v.2,3).
Hours 3
Let us intercede breaking the spirit of fear, confusion, disgrace and shame. “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore” (v.4).
Hours 4
LetuspraythattheLordwillrevealhimselftousas: o The Husband of the Church
- Our Creator
-Lord of hosts
- Our Redeemer
- The Holy One of Israel
“For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth” (v.5).
Hours 5
Let us cry out for each one of the families that the Lord will bring to church, especially those that are being oppressed by abandonment, grief and rejection. “‘For the Lord has called you like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a youthful wife when you were refused,’ says your God” (v.6).
Hours 6
Let us intercede so that the Lord will turn His face back towards our family, church, ministry and nation. Let us pray so that God in His mercy will give us righteous governors. Let us cry out for the Lord to remove all affliction and cover us with his mantle of consolation. “‘For a mere moment I have forsaken you, but with great mercies I will gather you. With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,’ says the Lord, your Redeemer” (v.7-8).
Hours 7
Let us pray so that God will remember His covenant and will not rebuke us in His anger, but cover us with His mercy and His peace. “‘For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord, who has mercy on you” (v.9-10).
Hours 8
Let us cry out so that the Lord will remove from our lives everything that brought affliction and pain to our ministry. Let us pray so that our ministry prospers with the G12 Vision as its foundation. Let us intercede so that the Lord will set our ministry as an example in the city where He has planted us. “O you afflicted one, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of rubies, your gates of crystal, and all your walls of precious stones” (v.11,12).
Hours 9
Let us pray so that the Lord raises our disciples as priestly families. “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children” (v.13).
Hours 10
Let us cry out so that justice reigns in our nation and that all corruption and oppression will be removed from it. Let us pray so that through the Blood of Jesus, our lives, families and ministries will be shielded against evil, keeping us far away from all fear and all oppression. “In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you” (v.14).
Hours 11
Let us intercede so that the Lord will keep us away from all betrayal and deceit; let us pray so that the Father will separate the destroyer from our lives, families and nations. “Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. Behold, I have created the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire, who brings forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the spoiler to destroy” (v.15-16).
Hours 12
Let us pray so that God will raise a wall of protection around our lives, families, ministries and nations, and keep us always victorious. “‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,’ says the Lord” (v.17).
