The Revival Kit was born out of the need for tools to help churches and small groups or cells to convey an effective message for this generation. It consists of 12 teachings and 12 testimonial videos with a message that will allow you to see hearts revived. We know that it will be of great help to your ministry.

PURPOSE

This book contains 12 basic teachings about the Christian life. It was written with the purpose of being used in cells or small groups. They are 12 powerful Bible studies that will take every person to have a true encounter with the Cross and with Jesus. TO 7 SEE BELIEVE

“For we live by believing and not by seeing” (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Something to think Conrad Nicholson Hilton was born in San Antonio, New Mexico and was educated there. From a young age his father would send him to welcome the train passengers that would arrive to spend the night in the hostel that the Hilton family had built in the county of Socorro (New Mexico), and so they would also buy something in the family convenience store. In 1917, when the United States entered the First World War, Hilton quickly enlisted into the U.S. army. Whilst Conrad was in the army, he received terrible news that his father had died. Now he had to be responsible for his family’s welfare. Having failed at several businesses (amongst them the creation of a bank), Hilton began in the hotel business when he purchased the Mobley Hotel in Cisco, Texas in 1919. That same year he also bought several other hotels in Texas; many of these acquired at low prices for the bad shape and deterioration they were in. He took charge of renovating and transforming them to make them appealing to the public. This was how he had his first great success with the hotel he built himself, the Dallas Hilton which opened its doors in 1925. 37

Time went by and the company continued to grow at a staggering speed. With an incredible vision for business, Conrad founded the Hilton Hotels Corporation in 1946, followed by the Hilton International Company in 1948. The company expanded offering services to travellers such as credit cards, car hire and such. During the great depression, Hilton was forced to file for bankruptcy and lost several of his hotels that he however continued to manage. Later on, the hotels he lost were repurchased by Hilton and his fortune continued to grow to unsuspected heights. In this way, the first international hotel chain of the Hilton family was born. See to believe or believe to see? â&#x20AC;&#x153;Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not knowâ&#x20AC;? (Jeremiah 33:3). We all need goals and dreams but many times fulfilling these depends on where our eyes are fixed and the steps of faith we take on a daily basis. At times we wait for the miracle to happen first in order to believe that it is achievable. But God desires that we believe the miracle is already done before it takes place. All the Lord Jesus taught came directly from the Father, from His relationship with Him, that is why we must believe in the things of the Spirit to walk in the Spirit. The world says that we must believe after we have seen, but God calls us to believe in order to see and obtain. SEE TO BELIEVE

Fixing our eyes on Jesus When our gaze is set only on Jesus, this does not allow our senses to perceive or accept what the world offers. It is necessary to be filled with the Holy Spirit in order to continue believing even when circumstances say otherwise. We should not look at our possibilities, but look to Jesus who is the source of our hope, the One who perfects our faith and aligns us for the right moment and timing. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Internal conviction Faith is based upon internal conviction but doubt is based on external circumstances. When we allow our mind to be affected by negative things, it begins to lose its strength and this leads us to falter. Internal conviction is subject to the Word that comes from God. When we listen like the wise we can speak like the wise strengthening our faith and that of those who surround us. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Persistent prayer Persistent prayer is that which, in spite of discouraging situations, continues believing, confessing and persevering in the faith; you are continuously thanking God for your miracle.

Conclusion A good way of knowing if we really believe in Jesus and His promises is when trials and difficulties come to our life. It is at that precise moment that we reflect on our relationship with Jesus and the love we profess for Him. It is time to count the stars and see our dreams as God sees them. Our gaze set on Jesus will lead us to understand that our hope is in Him and that with Him we are more than conquerors. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Prayer Thank you Lord for your Word because in it I find the strength to not give up. I thank you because by Your mercy I am not of those who draw back, but of those that advance with faith and reach the goal. I apply the Blood that was shed by Your feet when they were nailed to the tree and I affirm myself in the purpose that you chose for me. Thanks for dreaming with me and with the best future for my family and me. God, You are my strength, my shield and the One who lifts up my head. Amen.

ACTIVITY 7 Believe to see

Materials: 2 chairs: one with back support and another without (like a stool)

Instructions: Place the chair in the middle of the group. Choose a person that will sit there. Then let the person be on it for a few minutes. Ask the rest of the group what their day was like. Then you must blindfold the eyes of the person sitting on the chair. You will then ask them to stand and very quietly change the chair for a stool. You will ask some of the group to laugh to make the blindfolded person think that you have removed the chair and that there is nothing there. Then tell the blindfolded person to sit down and fully trust you. The most likely thing they will do is not sit because as they have heard everyone else laugh they will think that the chair is no longer there. Then explain that that is what trust in God is like. Sometimes we cannot see but we must believe nevertheless.
