SHOP DINE LIVE WORK PLAY What do people visiting a downtown expect? Some expect to see older buildings and a sense of history. Others expect trendy shops and restaurants. The expectations are broad because people of every age and background have unique connections to downtown. Downtown Conway is meeting those expectations in some exciting – and some tried and true – ways. The downtown shopping scene is a perfect mix of old and new. Whether it is a jewelry store doing business on the same block for more than 100 years or a high-fashion boutique just claiming their spot in the retail market, downtown is the perfect environment. Almost 40 retailers are doing business downtown. Several are new or in new locations just this year. Over the last decade, downtown Conway has earned a reputation as a destination for dining. Downtown restaurants are serving pizza, Mexican, Italian, steaks, seafood and other fare daily. Traditional family favorites and new spots we cannot wait to try are all thriving downtown. Downtown Conway’s restaurants and retailers remain a successful mix of reliable favorites and exciting new options.
