Food & Agriculture

The Conway School has been working over the past 14 years to improve food security in Western Massachusetts, beginning with a food security plan for the town of Shelburne Falls in 2009. Over the years we have worked with the citizens and officials of Springfield, Holyoke, Easthampton, Northampton, Great Barrington, and the governments of Franklin County to develop food security analyses and plans of action. Conway students have also collaborated with many local farms and community gardens on designs to improve the health, harvest, and access of their sites and produce by residents in need.
