Tom Ryan, Vice President, is actively engaged in the capital markets with over 20 years of experience in advising clients and originating commercial real estate financing solutions. Always with the goal of identifying the most efficient and costeffective solution available to best meet a clients short- or long-range goals.

Solutions range from first mortgage debt placements to more complicated structured finance transactions involving debt, equity and/or mezzanine financing.

Our institutional capital sources are broad, deep and include the GSE Agency lenders, Life Insurance Companies, Investment Banks, Pension Funds, Debt Funds, Equity Funds, and Commercial Banks large and small.

Mr. Ryan’s clients rely on him for sage advice and creative solutions to actively originate debt and/or equity at the best available terms from reliable and institutional sources of capital. He believes in consistent communication from underwriting to origination & negotiated terms to final closing of the transaction for an effective execution. He has closed on numerous property types including office, industrial, retail, multifamily, and senior housing.

Tom has a long history in commercial real estate - capital markets space sourcing, underwriting, and structuring commercial real estate transactions. Prior to joining Colliers Mortgage, Tom was a senior vice president at Churchill Commercial Capital where he spent the last 17 years originating debt and equity capital investments on all commercial property types. Prior to this he got his start with a small boutique commercial mortgage banking firm originating, underwriting, structuring, packaging, and closing loans. Over his career he has built a strong base of client and lender relationships through hard work, persistence, transparency and paying attention to detail. His business interest is in identifying challenging issues and developing creative solutions for his clients in addition to managing a broad array of lender relationships.

Tom earned a B.B.A. from the School of Business with a concentration in finance and communications from the University of San Diego.
