Special collections The DC Watt Collection on Floor 1 contains resources obtained primarily for students on the MA Intelligence and Studies; however it may be of interest to Politics and History students and staff. Print journals like Comparative Politics and reports such as Dod’s Parliamentary Companion are kept on Floor 3
Electronic resources A number of your key resources are available online. You can access these from the Subject pages link on the Library homepage. Specific e-journal titles subscribed to by the Library can be accessed via the E-Journals A-Z link. You will need to login to the e-Library via the Library homepage to access electronic resources both on and off campus: www.brunel.ac.uk/library Key databases The databases and e-journal collections allow you to discover what articles are available in journals, conference proceedings and other forms of literature. Academic Search Complete Contains full text articles from over 3,000 periodicals, including Politics, Political Science and International Relations, plus Area Studies and History.
JSTOR Archive collection of full text electronic journals, from 1880 to date. The collection only includes material that is over three years old. Subject areas include Political Studies, Slavic Studies, Middle East Studies and History. Nexis Provides access to national, regional and international newspapers. Also contains country reports including BBC Worldwide Monitoring. Taylor and Francis Journals Full text of all journals published by Taylor & Francis. Subjects covered include Politics and International Relations, Area Studies (including Russia, Middle East and Asia Pacific) and Conflict, Security and Strategic Studies.
