Magazines Magazines are an important part of the creative world. They display, promote and provide important discussion opportunities. The central aims of this project are to lead students through every step of an entire editorial production process. The workshop is truly multi-disciplinary and will be a strong opportunity to experiment an orchestrated workflow with all the different courses.

Methods Brainstorming will be decisive to individuate a theme (market analysis). Consequently the teacher will pick out the team in function of the number and profiles of the students. Teams will split tasks in order to cover the following areas: content research, financial implementation, design & production, distribution (analysis of various distribution systems) with their pro and cons, promotion and advertising.

Conclusions: During one week of work, 4 magazine’s prototypes have been produced. Magazines directed at specific groups of readers with one or more common interests; as to say, hyper-specification of the subject matter to allure a very pigeonholed niche of readers.
