Here, Joe tells Woman why he’s bringing his children up very diff erently to his own upbringing, and why he won't stop at just the two…
Hi, Joe! You’ve recently become a dad for the second time. What do you love about fatherhood? I really enjoy helping Indie to become a sensitive and loving person. As a kid, I had a very hectic upbringing, but we

Are you hands-on? I love being a dad and I love being present. I leave my phone downstairs and I do bath, bottle and bed. Indie is obsessed with The Gruffalo and Nighttime Bunny books and I read them over and over again. She loves it.
So are you more chilled since becoming a dad? Massively. And Rosie is amazing, I am learning from her. A screaming baby in your ear at 3am is such a hard mental challenge, but she never gets impatient and never snaps. I look at her and think, ‘Wow, if she can, I can too.’
Would you like more children? I defi nitely want more! I think we are going to have a little break now. Now I have got a girl and a boy, I don’t feel in a rush to have another one. But yeah, I would love to have three or four children if I can.
Why did you get involved with Gousto? I had a big opportunity with a supermarket but they wanted to do ready meals and I needed to fi nd something I believed in. Gousto’s mission is to get families cooking, helping people make healthy choices and I love the fact nothing goes to waste.
Do you do the cooking at home? I used to do all the cooking but now we choose the recipes together and Indie helps. We give her lentil dhal, curries and risottos… she is so adventurous because we started her so young.
What’s next for you? As well as going into schools to encourage children to exercise, I am bringing out a new Wean in 15 recipe book in May, which I am really excited about.
