Sister Frances has grown in confi dence since we fi rst met her… Yes, she’s more confi dent and she’s starting to fi nd her voice. She stands up for herself, which is awesome because people don’t expect it. There are still stumbling blocks, though, because she’s only human and life in Poplar always throws something unexpected her way.
Tell us about her medical issue She suff ers from incredibly painful menstrual cramps, which stop her

doing her job to her full ability. I love that it gets a mention. Women are still judged for taking time off for such reasons but I think we need to stop being ashamed about it and be totally upfront about it.
What do people love about the show? I think people connect to the fact that it represents ordinary working people. Also, it promotes kindness and empathy, which makes me, and I think many others, weep like a madwoman!
What have you learnt about Sister Frances this series? She’s so young to have become a nun, so things can turn into a struggle. But she’s a force to be reckoned with. And she’s far stronger than people give her credit for. Plus, she’s absolutely amazing with a sewing machine!

Sam Carlisle says what you’re thinking
Do they really
Judging by Louise’s new lyrics, her marriage to Jamie may be over, but their story isn’t think it’s all over?
Louise Redknapp has a new album out. There’s a song on there about the breakdown of her 19-year marriage to ex-England footballer, Jamie. She sings poignantly, ‘You said I didn’t need them. You would lift me up. You were wrong. I should have fi xed it before it was unfi xable.’ Let’s rewind. Louise had a successful career with girl band Eternal before her marriage. Although the couple lacked for nothing fi nancially,
Louise has found her sense of purpose again
she admits she found herself in the same situation as many women when their children grow up. She says, ‘Jamie had a very, very full life. I was just going, “Well, what’s next for me?”’ Then the Strictly Come Dancing off er arrived on her doormat. Louise forced herself to take part and fell back in love with performing. She says, ‘It’s what gives me confi dence and makes me feel I’m worth something. I felt like I needed to have a bit of fi re again.’ She is still respectful of her ex. ‘This is about how I felt as a person. I adore him and always will.’ Former Liverpool star Jamie said recently he could never do as well as his dad Harry on I’m a Celebrity because he ‘doesn’t have a Sandra’. Meaning there’s no strong woman, like his mum, by his side. Ironically, that’s exactly the person Louise has become in this third stage of her life. They think it’s all over? Perhaps for Louise and Jamie it isn’t.
MATCH-BAKING David Walliams said his mum loves Paul Hollywood so much he is going to sit her next to the Bake Off judge at a TV awards ceremony. I wouldn’t rate your chances, Kathleen Given Hollywood’s dating history, unless you pull pints behind a bar you’re very unlikely to pull the master baker.
