What does being an entrepreneur mean to you? Being an entrepreneur for me means creating. Expressing my passion, my own impact in the world, my voice.
What was your motivation to become an entrepreneur? My motivation to become an entrepreneur was a strong feeling that some things has to be changed. The way world perceive women. I believe that women any shape, any color and any age are beautiful. This motivated me to create a brand that appreciate any shape of woman, any color, any age. Every woman can feel accepted and be a part of an amazing community of strong and successful women Flexup.
What is the function of your company? Empowering women around the world. Spreading positivity, equality and healthy lifestyle. What have been the biggest difficulties as a woman that you encountered in this job? In the beginning stages of creating my company I have encountered the difficulties when people didn’t take my idea seriously because of my young age and being a women. But I always keep going, believe in myself and follow my dreams.
There will be those who think that you are very lucky, so tell us also about the difficult times you have lived until you get here. So many difficulties such as moving to a different country away from my family, learning the language, facing rejections, disappointments and betrayal. Doesn’t matter how many times you failed, only matters that you always stand up and keep going.
You said some time ago that you would like to inspire people, make them believe in the success of their ideas and projects. Dont you think that, in some way, you are achieving it with your own example? Yes, I am very proud of myself and all of my achievements. I think it’s very important to be able celebrate your own winnings and be your own cheerleader. How do you define your style, who do you draw inspiration from? I am my own inspiration and creating my own style. Depending on a occasion I like to dress classy, casual or urban. Mostly I am wearing Flexup. Because its super comfortable.
What have you learned from your previous successes? That hard work and perseverance, dedication always pays off. Being brave and being able to take bold choices are a big part of success!
Do you consider that recognition has a real value when you receive it? Definitely! I am always celebrating every of my successes. Small or big.
To almost finish the interview, being so young, what goals would you like to achieve? Build a successful multimillion dollar company Flexup. Create my own family. Spread happiness, positive and healthy lifestyle around the world.
What advice would you give to women entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs or those who want to become one? Be brave, be bold, believe in yourself, work hard and enjoy the journey!
