MPM PRODUCER | CP Magazine

How are you living this great professional moment with the release of your new single “Reborn”? Hello! This is amazing! I’ve always wanted to make a professional release and finally, here I am!

How was your approach to the world of music? After many years, I convinced myself that I needed to improve my skills if I wanted to continue. So I studied sound engineering, and I’m taking take of my projects in every aspect I can.

What things or people do you consider as your greatest influences? Well, things it’s n hard question. Uhm, my guitar and… People: definitely a lot of bands (from Blink-182 to Metallica, from Sting to Skrillex…) but also artists and amazing regular people. As experiences: being in a punk rock band for ten years, making beats and mixes and composing in different music genres made MPM Producer the project it is now. What is the greatest satisfaction that music has given you? Of course, making a crowd (even if small) singing your songs. It’s amazing. In the end, my biggest satisfaction is that music has been in my life for 15 years.

How far would you be willing to go to achieve your professional goals? You never know… This project is a new one but it’s a result of a lot of past attempts. So... we’ll see. I’ll enjoy the ride, for now.

Since you created your music project, what have been the biggest difficulties encountered along the way? I cannot answer this question in a few lines… A lot of obstacles in my whole music life. For this new project: being an individual who writes, records, mixes... thinks about his videos and deals with all the people involved… Well... it can be enough, no? :)

What has been the song that has marked you the most and why? Very difficult to say. More than one for sure. But probably, going back to my teen passions, I would say “What’s my age again?” from Blink-182. This song is probably the reason why I decided to learn how to play guitar.

What other projects are you currently working on? Can you tell us more about it? After this first single, more is ready to come out. Because MAYBE I have my first EP ready to go in a few months... Stay tuned!

What would you advise to young people who are starting in this complex world of music? Be patient. Little satisfactions come with time. Be VERY patient.
