MEET JANE NEEDHAM Jane Needham works in our very entertaining housekeeping department and has done so for over 19 years. Originally from the northern beaches of Sydney, Jane has called the Snoww Mountains home for the last 40 or so years as she says. Originally being drawn to the region with a love for skiing, Jane met her husband Bill in Perisher and used to take 5 day horse treks through the mountains with pack horses. There were no mobile phones or GPS’ in those days. Jane is also one of the lovely marriage celebrants who conduct wedding ceremonies here on the Resort grounds. Jane loves the team she works with and she says she loves coming to work, “its such a beautiful place to work, we are very lucky”. When not working Jane loves going for a swim at Lake Jindabyne or spending time with her beautiful grandchildren.
TRY OUR NEW FLEET OF ELECTRIC BIKES LAKE CRACKENBACK RESORT & SPA We are excited to share that we have purchased a fleet of E-Bikes here at the Resort. Electric Mountain Bikes are a great option for a more enjoyable ride on the trails around Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa. The ease of use won’t have you breathing hard on the trails, giving you more time to enjoy the beautiful views that surround you. The extra power that the E-bike gives you means that uphill trails are now easier. There is still confusion as to the difference between an E-bike and a normal mountain bike. The electric bike will provide extra power when you are pedalling that a standard mountain bike will not provide. CASCADE HUT GUIDED E-BIKE TOUR - $280 pp Experience an intimate mountain bike tour with access to remote wilderness areas, the historic cattlemen’s hut, Cascade Hut, plus you may even spot a brumby or two. A great day out on your bike with amazing sights and riding. GUIDED KOSCIUSZKO SUNSET E-BIKE TOUR - $185 pp Experience a high altitude ride up to Rawson’s Pass (2,120m) then walk to the summit of Australia’s highest peak, Mt Kosciuszko (2,228m) to enjoy the magnificent sunset over the range.
