The highly anticipated Noosa District SHS production of Annie hits the stage next month.

Rehearsals are hotting up for the excited and proud cast and crew as they add the finishing touches needed to make this production Noosa District SHS’s biggest and best yet.

Showcasing the outstanding talents of awesome actors, dynamic dancers and sensational singers, this family-friendly 1977 Tony Award-winner for Best Musical is based on Harold Gray’s popular comic strip

Little Orphan Annie which he started in the 1920s.

Little orphan Annie is taken from her orphanage and the clutches of evil Miss Hannigan, to stay at billionaire Oliver Warbucks’ mansion for the holidays.

When Annie wins the hearts of Warbucks and his staff, they set out on an epic mission to find Annie’s parents. Meanwhile, Miss Hannigan, in partnership with her brother Rooster and his girlfriend Lily, attempts to make some money out of this unique situation.

Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Annie will thrill and delight both children and adults.

Performances will be held at the Noosa District SHS Cooroy Campus on Thursday 3 August, Friday 4 August and Saturday 5 August. Doors will open at 6 pm for a 6:30 pm start. Hot food and drinks will be available before the show and at the interval. Tickets are available on sale now at trybooking. com and also at the door on the night. There are limited seats so book tickets fast to avoid disappointment.
