WINDS COLLECTION As we delve further into the art of embroidery we are thrilled to introduce our Winds Collection. Here we interpret and explore the patterns, flow and movement of the natural world as only we can - with stitches on cloth. Just as the winds shape and define wilderness, with this collection we capture, echo and interpret extraordinary natural phenomena in thread. With our Winds Collection we present an artist’s exploration of process and relationships. As a riverbed’s history is revealed through its unique contours, so do our stitches define shapes and forms on fabrics woven to accentuate their subtle sheen. Patterns reflect designer Stephanie Housley’s ongoing studies of embroidery as an art form unique to luxury home textiles, applying the vast inspiration of desert adventures and the great outdoors.

ABOUT CORAL & TUSK Designer Stephanie Housleyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s creative process is a special alchemy of story-telling, illustration, machine embroidery and hand-finishing. Trained informally at home and then formally at RISD in Textiles, she first creates her bold pattern designs as original pencil drawings before painstakingly redrawing them stitch by stitch. Hand drawn designs are machine-embroidered at workshops in India and then finished by hand in her Brooklyn studio. Stephanieâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s vision draws upon the spirit of her foremothers while always paying reverence to the natural world around her. Every Coral & Tusk product retains the hand-drawn allure of the original illustration, now with the satisfying tactile quality of stitches on cloth.
