Three health plan choices, administered by BCBS of MN, including a High Deductible Health Plan with employer contribution to a Health Savings Account Comprehensive Dental coverage, including orthodontics for children administered by MetLife VSP vision insurance coverage including allowance for frames, lenses, and contacts Tax savings via Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts administered by Discovery Benefits Preventative Chiropractic Care Program, up to 12 visits per year at a participating provider for employees. REJUVENATE Concordia offers 12 total paid holidays per year, including the dates between Christmas and New Year’s. Planned Time Off (PTO) starts at 18 days per year (used for personal and sick days). A new employee may seek a higher PTO accrual if he/she received paid leave benefits at his or her most recent employer that exceed the amount of PTO and holiday pay otherwise received under this policy. Contact HR for more details. Extended Illness Benefit (EIB) is offered for illness greater than 3 days. New employees are granted a balance of 4 weeks and accrue 8 hours per month. Benefits are based on a 1.0 FTE. Some benefits are pro-rated based on actual FTE, see HR for details.

EDUCATE Employees, spouses, and dependents are eligible for up to a 90 percent tuition allowance at Concordia College and the Concordia Language Villages. Concordia Language Villages is a division of the college that provides a culturally authentic immersion camp for youth, adults, educators, and professionals in 15 languages. Dependents may be eligble for several higher education tuition exchange programs and for tuition reduction of up to 50 percent at Oak Grove Lutheran School.

Additional education opportunities for employees include on-campus workshops, software training, President’s Seminar, along with various other speakers and events.
