Yet for me, seizing small opportunities to make an impact on other Cobbers while thinking about all the doors that were opened for me while I was at Concordia is important. Coming together to support our own – you can't pass that up.” – Levi Bachmeier ’14 The Concordia Annual Fund allows the college to meet emerging needs, explore new opportunities and respond to unexpected challenges. Concordia Remains “Rooted and Open” Larry Papenfuss, Co-Director, Dovre Center for Faith and Learning

Concordia College is both rooted in the Lutheran theological tradition and open to students from a variety of backgrounds, joining us in a common educational mission that ultimately seeks to serve our neighbor in love. An ELCA task force has drafted a mission identity statement for the 26 ELCA colleges. President Craft has charged a campus committee to review their work and our own mission identity. Ultimately, summer efforts will seek to provide a coherent narrative of all the faith expressions active at Concordia such as Campus Ministry; Dovre Center for Faith and Learning; Forum for Faith and Life; Lorentzsen Center for Faith and Work; and the Faith and Leadership concentration.
