MICHELLE WELLS Michelle Wells is a highly motivated and passionate senior recruiter with an excellent track record recruitment in all levels of management in hotels, bars and restaurants across the world. Michelle comes from a strong restaurant operations background in South Africa, starting off at St Elmos in Hout Bay and then to the famous Mariners Wharf. Loving the hospitality industry, Michelle did her Hotel Management Diploma at Grainger Bay Hotel School and then to the bright lights of London. A bit of a career change saw, Michelle join the recruitment sector where she worked for another hospitality agency, mentored by Krishnan Doyle. When Krishnan took the opportunity to start COREcruitment, Michelle joined him 6 months later, focusing on Chef Recruitment. In November 2009, Michelle made the decision to come back to Cape Town and so the idea for the SA and International Division was born! Her recruitment skills are based upon understanding the needs of her clients and her candidates, always integrating with them to make the right match!

Beatrice Forest Beatrice joined the COREcruitment team in November 2012 and successfully completed our in-house training program. After a Bachelor degree in Hospitality and Tourism management, Beatrice graduated with a Master in Hospitality Management from A.I.M International Business School (Assoc. with Cornell University). After an early career in France and Canada, Beatrice decided to move to the UK in 2009. From Front of House to Assistant F&B Manager within a branded Hotel Operations Beatrice has gained an excellent knowledge of the Industry.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT Our Team Krishnan Doyle Krishnan has over 10 year’s market experience, focussing extensively in Europe, the Middle East and South America. Coupled with his operational background, Krishnan has also studied in Hospitality, Tourism and Facility Management in Spain and Holland, achieving a joint honours degree from one of Europe’s top Business Schools. Most recently Krishnan has also achieved qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Personal Development (CIPD), the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and an Advanced Diploma in Professional Development & Organisational Culture from a prominent London University.

Clive Yeates Clive joined COREcruitment having previously come from a chef background working in some of London’s top rosette and Michelin restaurants. Clive then spent a year working for one of the best fine food suppliers to the Capital and the UK helping them to set up their new division getting produce direct from the Paris and Italian markets. Since becoming a consultant he has forged a strong working relationship with some of the country’s leading restaurants, Gastros and hotels and they trust his judgment to find them the perfect match for their requirements.

Suj Premachandran Suj is a highly motivated and driven recruiter with an excellent track record in placing staff in a variety of fields. Suj studied in the University of the Arts and London Southbank University with qualification in creative advertising and business studies. Suj Joined COREcruitment in 2011 from an extensive background ranging from recruitment, health and fitness and retail. He now specializes in sourcing and recruitment of FM, Maintenance and Engineering Specialists.

Another one of our popular methods of attracting candidates is organising an open day. Essentially open days are an opportunity for potential members of staff to visit your business at one of your locations, interact with your members of staff to further our understanding of your business.

We also have the ability to use our in house system of psychometric testing. We have found this especially useful as part of the recruitment process to double check that a candidate has the appropriate ability levels to be successful in a role.

Working within these niche areas also means consultants are constantly working on similar roles. Therefore, consultants know as soon as they receive a vacancy who is available, who would be suitable and who may have a referral. Some of our top candidates are known as ‘passive candidates’ which means they are not actively looking but we always keep an eye out for them and contact them if any suitable roles come up.
