Kate Jordan Kate joined COREcruitment in 2014. Having graduated from University of Derby in Business Management. Kate went on to manage bars for the next 10years and after a 7 month break in South America it was time for a change. Taj Rai Taj comes from a background in recruitment and sales where he was a top performer from a young age. Initially starting as an Assistant Manager for the largest sports athletic retailer in the world in back in 2007, Taj was promoted to Store Manger and became one the youngest managers to do so after successfully turning around an underperforming store and making it the number one turnover store in the region. He was then promoted for the second time in under 2 years again turning around an underperforming store, managing and recruiting successful sales team over the course of the next 2 years who broke several sales and customer service records which still stand today. This then led to him being awarded the prestigious Manager of the Year award, against more experienced peers and assisted his senior managers were he was a support for the rest of the stores in the south east region training and developing future

Head office Support team AMMA OWUSU-AFRIYIE Amma recruited HR positions in multiple sectors. Amma now specialises in recruiting HR and has now added Marketing to her market here at CORE. She recruits from HR Advisor through to Head of HR / HR Director positions as well as marketing positions ranging from Marketing Executive through to Marketing Manager to Head of Marketing / Marketing Director. This is for both interim and permanent.

GEMMA EAMES Gemma joined COREcruitment in July 2013, having previously worked as a Recruitment Manager in the charity sector. Gemma provides a range of facility management, property and IT services to help our clients find the support they need. Gemma spends time getting to know her client’s business intimately and gain a deep understanding of their needs. Gemma is currently working with a range of clients in the UK and internationally including ISS, MITIE, Merlin Entertainment, Campus Living Villages and Compass.

OLIWIA WOJACZEK Oliwia joined COREcruitment team in May 2014 after spending nearly 7 years in hospitality and retail industries. Since September 2015 she’s heading up our Finance division. Oliwia covers roles nationwide offering a wide range of Accounting & Finance candidates. She works with well-known, prestigious clients all around the UK.

JANICE HARDY Janice has worked and studied internationally, completing her degree in Las Vegas, she excelled in her state-side hospitality studies, specifically in the area of finance. During her time in America, Janice had extensive experience of dealing with challenging clients in a high profile guest relations role. Upon her return to London she completed one of the industry’s finest management development programs with an up market wine merchant. She focuses mostly on management opportunities within the service sector.

Working within these niche areas also means consultants are constantly working on similar roles. Therefore, consultants know as soon as they receive a vacancy who is available, who would be suitable and who may have a referral. Some of our top candidates are known as ‘passive candidates’ which means they are not actively looking but we always keep an eye out for them and contact them if any suitable roles come up.
