CORK COLLECTION

Meet Stella. She’s a bubble blowing champion, but always humble enough to offer her last gum ball to a friend. When life gives her lemons, she makes pink lemonade—served in crystal Champagne flutes, of course. She paints her world with candy colors, making it as sweet as she is. Cork Collection is a visual series dedicated to showing the versatility of Cork Factory Hotel as a wedding and event space. Whether your style is mod and pop, glamor and gold, leather and lace, or a bit of everything, you’ll find the historic charm of Cork Factory Hotel to be the perfect canvas for any celebration. As you flip through the following pages, we hope Stella’s world fills you with inspiration, ideas, and excitement.

CORK FAC T O R Y HOTEL

ACT ONE

Respecting its name, the party is refreshing and drizzled in sweetness— daisies and daffodils, cookies and cakes, bubbles and bows. Place settings welcome friends and family with a bold juxtaposition of patterns, softened by a bit of lace. Champagne and lemonade spritzers keep with the palette. It is now that Stella’s guests get a glimpse of what’s to come.

1. FRESH AS A DAISY A lemon & raspberry daisy cake made with sweet lemon pound cake, filled with raspberry mousse, and finished with cheerful white and yellow fondant is as beautiful as it is delicious. Button things up by adding a black bowtie and placing it on black glass pedestal.

ACT TWO

On the eve before, Stella is joined by family and friends to toast to the next chapter of her life—one filled with happiness, adventure, and love. It’s a moment of calm before the wondrous storm. Rather than butterflies, her stomach is filled with sparkling rosÊ and lemon sorbet. She finds encouragement in the smiles of her friends, peace in the smell of freshly cut roses, and history in the vintage place settings passed down to her from her loving family. It is in this moment that it all comes together.

1. GROOM’S CAKE Chocolate cake drizzled with ganache with gold glittered XO topper and finished with mocha macaroons, Kit-Kats, and chocolate shavings. 2. SET THE SCENE with vintage china, custom menus, and colorful linens. 3. LOVE IS SWEET Satisfy your guests’ sweet tooths with custom cake jars of vanilla cake, strawberry mousse, and rainbow confetti sprinkles. Great on-the-road gifts for traveling guests.

ACT THREE

Like a wrecking ball, Stella demands attention on her wedding day— shattering all concepts of beauty and femininity. Her presence is booming, yet she floats down the aisle with graceful and precise footsteps that quiet even the pickiest of perfectionists in the crowd. It is at the altar where her sparkling personality meets with a visual representation of her aura—an explosion of vibrant florals.

1. CAKE FOR (WEDDING) DAYS Streams of fresh florals top this sweet and savory buttercream cake. 2. COVER UP Gift wrap in bright hues and patterns turns old books into simple decor that brings a pop of color. 3. WALLFLOWER Perk up a typical faux boxwood backdrop with a cascading waterfall of live florals for an altar (or photobooth) backdrop.

ACT FOUR

Stella throws the party to end all parties—and nothing less. Her graphic sense of style is poured throughout The Ballroom with honeycomb bubbles and tissue blossoms, colorblocked Champagne bottles, and stacks of vintage books in brilliant hues. Menus are meticulously placed upon polkadotted plates, respectfully paired with black and white plaid linens. It is here that her guests’ eyes twinkle with amusement as they discover the same beauty and energy in the room that they find in Stella.

1. HIT THE LIGHTS Dance the night away through a field of flowers with custom dancefloor lights. 2. PASS IT ON A vintage wedding dress passed down can make for a spunky reception dress. Bring it into the 21st century with a fun piece of statement jewelry. 3. BLAST FROM THE PAST Black and white photos from family weddings past sit among moss and boxwood balls and white chocolate-dipped, bite-sized Rice Krispies treats.

ACT FIVE

T H E D AY A F T E R After a night of dancing, feasting, and celebration, there is one thing on everybody’s mind: brunch. Like breakfast, it gets the day going— but comes with the luxury of sleeping in. As a thank you to her guests who stayed overnight, Stella treats them to fresh baked goods and mimosas on the terrace. It is now that she can let out a giant breath of satisfaction.

1. LOVE LOCAL Keep copies of local magazines on lounge tables—your guests can use them as guides for when they explore the city during their stay. 2. FRESH AS A DAISY The smell of fresh cut flowers in the morning breeze awakens the senses. Save time (and money) by keeping it simple like daisies in vintage bottles. 3. PATTERN PLAY Mixing floral patterns can be busy, but can be interesting yet tame if you keep them all in the same color palette.

EPILOGUE

T H E D E TA I L S A wedding so perfectly planned is only fitting for Stella. As every strand of hair is perfectly styled, so is every menu, fork, and napkin. Flip through the following pages and discover sweet little details that are the secret ingredients to an unforgettable day.
