Danny Morrison is a writer who lives in Belfast. He has written four novels and three books of nonfiction. His short stories have been broadcast on BBC and RTÉ. His last novel, Rudi, set in part in Cork, was inspired by Hermann Hesse’s 1915 novel, Knulp. He was chair of West Belfast’s Féile an Phobail for eleven years and currently organises its literary programme. His latest publication, based on quotes he has gathered over thirty years, and which he will be reading from, is called Life, I Do Not Understand You.
Cónal Creedon is a novelist, playwright & documentary film-maker. His books include Pancho and Lefty, Second City Trilogy, Passion Play, The Immortal Deed & Begotten Not Made. His stage plays have been produced in Ireland, UK, USA & China, and were awarded Best Actor, Best Director & Nominated Best Playwright at New York Theatre Awards. His film documentaries have had a number of international screenings including at World Expo Shanghai and New York University. Cónal’s radio dramas have been broadcast by RTÉ, BBC Radio 4 & BBC World Service. Danielle McLaughlin is the author of the short story collection Dinosaurs on Other Planets. In 2019 she was a WindhamCampbell Prize recipient, and won the Sunday Times Audible Short Story Award. Her first novel, The Art of Falling, will be published in 2021. Together with Madeleine D’Arcy, she co-runs Fiction at the Friary, a free monthly fiction event in Cork which takes place at the Friary Bar, North Mall on the last Sunday of every month.
Rosemary Jenkinson was born in Belfast and is a playwright and short
story writer. Her book Catholic Boy was shortlisted for the EU Prize for Literature. She was writer-in-residence at the Lyric Theatre and 2019 Arts Council of Northern Ireland Major Artist. Her latest short story collection Lifestyle Choice 10mg is published by Doire Press.
