SKETCHBOOK PROJECT

Ponte Milvio: a stone bridge located over the Tiber River. Constructed in 115 B.C., it was the site of the famous Battle of Ponte Milvio between Emperors Constantine I and Maxentius in 312 AD.


Tribunal Palace and Lay Fraternity, Piazza Grande, Arezzo: 14th-15th century palazzo in Piazza Grande, Arezzo.


Piazza del Popolo: large urban square in Flaminio, Rome located just outside Aurelian Walls. Located in the center is an Egyptian obelisk from Ramesses II, Pharaoh of Egypt and the twin churches of Santa Maria in Montesanto (left) and Santa Maria dei Miracoli (right).


Temple of Minerva Medica: an incorrectly named nymphaeum located near Porta Maggiore on the Esquiline Hill.


Temple of Saturn: a temple dedicated to the Roman god Saturn. It stands on the foot of the Capitoline Hill in the Roman Forum.


Inner Courtyard of the Ducal Palace, Urbino: a Renaissance palace built during the fifteenth century by the Duke of Urbino, Federico da Montefeltro.


Porta Tiburtina: a gate in the Aurelian Walls, where the Via Tiburtina goes through and exits the city.


Villa Borghese: a villa located in the eponymously-named park which houses an art collection from the Borghese family dating to the sixteenth century.
