Borromini’s Forced Perspective at Palazzo Spada - Rome

- Architect/Artist: Francesco Borromini - Commissioned by Cardinal Spada in 1632 - Shortening columns and rising floor level - Statue of Mars at the end of the of the colonnade looks life size but is only 60cm tall
