Thankful for the life of Prof. Ron Meyers Ron Meyers, associate professor of science and chair of the Kinesiology, Science & Mathematics Division at Cornerstone University, died Oct. 19 after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Meyers, who taught at Cornerstone since 1979, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in February 2007 after experiencing intense abdominal pain. Despite weeks of chemotherapy, Meyers returned to Cornerstone to teach a full load of classes for the 2007-2008 school year. Meyers earned his bachelor's degree from Cedarville University.
