Peachy Keen
THE PERFECT SUN-KISSED
LOOK FOR SUMMER, peachtoned eyes are super hot right now. Spotted at spring/summer ’22 shows for Drome, Bora Aksu and Anna Sui, and seen on celebs like Selena Gomez, the soft and ethereal look is ideal for warm weather. “Coral and peachy tones are very complimentary to that ‘golden-hour skin glow’ that’s so on trend,” says Toronto-based makeup artist Kim Creton. Start by applying an eyeshadow primer. “I can’t stress the importance of primer enough,” says Creton. “Not only will it help the eyeshadow stay on for hours, but it helps make the colour pop, too.” Next, apply your chosen peach shadow. Creton prefers cream formulas that can be applied with the fingers, which helps the product melt onto the skin and makes it efortless to blend upwards onto the outer brow bone. If you’re using a powder, she recommends using a flufy crease brush to blend the colour outwards and upwards. — Lora Grady
