Benejúzar launches a campaign to raise funds for new Early Intervention Centre

The Department of Commerce of the Town Council of Benejúzar is to launch a campaign to raise funds for the new Early Childhood Centre that ADIS will open in the town.

The initiative consists of the purchase, for just 1 euro, of solidarity pens with the slogan ‘Awaken your attention’. The pens can be purchased in the local shops belonging to the Association of Traders and Entrepreneurs (ACE), who collaborate in this initiative; in the ADIS centre, the association that is implementing the project, located at Calle Angelino Fons, 1; on the ADIS website, www.adisvegabaja. org/tienda/, on the website despiertatuatencion.com, or at the Town Hall.

The Benejúzar Town Hall, through the Department of Commerce, covers one hundred percent of the cost of the pens, “with the aim that all proceeds go to the Early Intervention Centre,” said the councillor responsible for the area, Manuel Parra. The councillor explained that “this is a very important initiative, because any help is welcome to help ADIS to set up a centre in our municipality which will soon be a reality and which will accommodate children with disabilities or at risk of suffering from them”.

The premises where the centre will be located are in Calle Juan Carlos I, nº 20 in Benejúzar. The new space will be able to attend to 140 children per month in its 35 outpatient places. It will have a lobby and/or waiting room of 18 m², a management office of 10 m², three consultation rooms (both 15 m²), a multipurpose room of 20-25 m² and two toilets, which represents a significant monetary outlay.
