Iconic scenery Nature plays a crucial role, gifting the Costa Brava with spectacular spots like Cap de Creus, Calella de Palafrugell or CadaquĂŠs. Undoubtedly, the most iconic scenery on the Costa Brava is its beaches, its crystal-clear water and golden sand, coves tucked away among the steep cliffs and quaint fishing villages.

Palamós Palamós, the Sea. That’s the simplest way to describe Pal am ó s , where the sea is omnipresent. We’re not just talking about the physical, geographical sea but about the sea of the soul, the sea in all its splendour. The sea has defined the personality of the town and its inhabitants – it has written their history, it has provided meaning and a sense of vocation to their work, it has given character to their cuisine and colour and form to the landscape where they live. The fish market and the auction are a must.

The taste of prawns Their reddish body, their firm texture, their freshness and their incomparably exquisite flavour, make Palamós Prawns a unique, intimate and inexplicable pleasure. A genuine gift for the senses.
Truman Capote Truman Capote arrived in Palamos in 1960 and stayed until 1962 to write his book, In Cold Blood. Enjoy a dry Mar tini, his favorite drink at the Hotel Trias, where he stayed for several days while looking for a house, and some fish tapas at Maria de Cadaques Restaurant. 22
